摘要： A bamboo tube connection includes a first bamboo tube and a second bamboo tube, the first and second bamboo tubes being in butting relationship, possibly at an angle to each other. A longitudinal insert member is fixed in at least the first bamboo tube in an end region thereof. A longitudinal connector at least indirectly releaseable connects the longitudinal insert member to the second bamboo tube. In one embodiment the insert member is so positioned in the longitudinal direction in the first is a bamboo tube so that, when the tubes are connected together, the second bamboo tube is pressed with its peripheral surface against an end face of the insert member.

摘要： Several rattan furniture joints are disclosed, one comprising a T-shaped connection for two rattan poles, a second joint having the poles parallel and alongside one another, and the third joint having the poles connected end-to-end. In each of these three types of joint two internally threaded plastic inserts are pinned in aligned openings in the poles, and a threaded male stud or shank member is provided to connect the two poles. The method provides for rotating one plastic insert with respect to the other to facilitate the assembly of the parts, and this assembly step can be achieved by providing a slotted head on at least the rotatable insert, or merely by virtue of the fact that one pole can be rotated with respect to the other during assembly.

Therefore, a storage cart including a frame and holes does not need to install or form additional supports for connecting with the roof assembly. Fasteners can pass through the holes of the storage cart and engage with the connecting elements to cause the roof assembly securely connected with the storage cart.

摘要： Furniture disclosed herein is substantially constructed of elongated cylindrical wooden members which are connected together by cove joints including a first such member coved at an end thereof to fit conformingly against the curved surface of a second such member at an angle thereto, a hanger bolt secured in and extending from the coved end of the first member substantially through a transverse bore in the second member, and a drive-socketed flanged cap nut engaging the extending end of the bolt and bearing against the opposite curved surface of the second cylindrical member to adjustably compress the cylindrical members together at their conforming fit to stabilize the joint. The flanged nut has a cylindrical portion containing its threads for entry into the bore for centering it under the nut flange, and the flange has an annular appearance skirt extending toward the curved surface of the second wooden member for cutting thereinto and hiding the undersurface of the flange. A furniture manufacturing method in which pluralities of standardized cylindrical members and bolts are prepared complete ready for further assembly to form cove joints, suitably selected members including the bolts are assembled with cove joints to form a particular piece of furniture, and the cap nuts are attached to the bolts and screwed down to compress the members together at the joints to the degree needed to stabilize the joints.

摘要： A set of structural components for constructing knockdown furnitures is disclosed. Different kinds of furnitures can be formed by interconnecting these components. The owner is free to select and assemble the desired kind and design of furniture pieces. These structural components are preferably made of bamboo poles which are cut in predetermined lengths to form the legs, rails and couplings of the furniture. The legs and rails are provided with holes, and fitted with female fittings. The coupling is fitted with a dowel having blind threaded holes through which male fittings can be connected. Aside from making furnitures, these structural components may also used to build beach houses, rest houses, and the like.
