    摘要: A push and/or pull handle lockset, comprising: latch tongue (4) in first extended position, and operable to second retracted position; biasing means (6) urging the latch tongue (4) in first position; a linking means (12) to link the latch tongue to the actuator (16); sliding shaft (20) extending through lockset roses (27, 36), and operable from first position to second operating position; a biasing means (26) urging the sliding shaft to first position; an engagement means (21) for sliding shaft (20) to engage with actuator (16); lock accommodations (22, 30) for locking means; actuator (16) to translate movement of said sliding shaft to operate latch tongue (4) into second position; locking means (45) interposed between the lockset roses in parallel alignment with sliding shaft (20) including latch arm (46) which is rotatable in and out of lock sockets (22, 30); lockset unit operation is reversed by rotating the lockset unit one hundred and eighty degrees (180°) about it's horizontal lateral axis, changing the direction of actuator (16) or handle (43, 44) operation.

A removably engageable latch module slidably engages with the casing. A latch is reversibly engaged into the latch module with an allen screw and allows for user reversal to accommodate different door installations. The latch module also provides a switch for changing between first and second modes of operation to provide an external day latch function. The switching lever protrudes through the face plate on the side of the door.

    摘要: A latch is provided for a mortise lock of the type comprising a housing for accommodating the lock components. The latch comprises a first and second portions movably mounted in the housing and a securing element for releasably connecting the first and second portions in either a first relative axial position or a second relative axial position where the first and second portions of the latch are rotatable relative to one another. In the first axially connected position of the latch, the first and second portions of the latch are movable together relative to the housing so that the first portion at least partially non-rotatably projects outwardly from the opening in the housing in an extended position of the latch, and the first portion is inside the housing in a retracted position of the latch. In the second axially connected position of the latch, the first portion of the latch extends further outwardly from the opening in the housing so that the first portion is rotatable relative to the housing and the first portion may be rotated to a selected position and returned to the first axially connected position of the first and second portions of the latch.

    摘要: A spring biased latch mechanism is provided for securing a door to a stationary post. The mechanism includes a latch body secured to a first side of the door, the latch body having first and second striker bar receiving flanges extending from the door, each of the flanges having at least one striker bar receiving aperture formed therein. The latch body further includes a compression spring flange extending from the door proximate the first striker bar receiving flange. A striker plate is connected to a stationary post. The striker plate includes a first flange extending from the post and having a striker bar receiving aperture formed therein. A striker bar supported by the latch body is translatable within the striker bar receiving apertures, and into the striker plate aperture. A compression spring is disposed between the latch body compression spring flange and the striker bar, the compressions spring being operative to urge the striker bar into locking engagement with the striker plate flange aperture.
