Abstract:
A magnetic fastener and wall covering system include at least one wall panel having a front facing surface, a magnetically attractive rear facing surface and a side surface forming any number of different shapes. A plurality of wall fasteners and wall anchors are provided to penetrate and engage a wall. A plurality of magnetic spacers are provided having a central aperture for receiving one of the plurality of wall fasteners, and for attracting to the magnetically attractive rear surface of the wall panel. The system also includes one or more wall strips having a magnetic top surface and an adhesive back surface.
Abstract:
A method to repair a damaged area of a workpiece with a repair kit includes rotating an arbor to drive a cutting member about a central axis of the arbor, cutting a hole in the workpiece with the cutting member, engaging the workpiece with the cutting member as the hole is cut to secure the cutting member within the hole, disconnecting the arbor from the cutting member, and leaving the cutting member in the workpiece to plug the hole.
Abstract:
A drywall brace and system or method for using the same can include a body including a length L, a width W, and a thickness T. The body can include a first surface defined by a first plane comprising the length L and width W, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a first end sharpened to a point adapted to form an opening through drywall. A mounting aperture can be formed completely through a central portion of the body and be sized to receive a threaded bolt for mounting a device. A first portion and second portion of flexible line can be coupled within 3 centimeters (cm) of the mounting aperture. An adhesive can be coupled to the first surface of the body and covered with a removable adhesive protective layer. A cleaning pad can be coupled to the second surface of the body.
Abstract:
The Drywall Cutting Apparatus contains a circular knife-saw with an angled cut designed for the formation of a circular opening in a damaged wall or for the formation of a Circular Ready Patch component in a sheet of drywall. The Circular Ready Patch is a round drywall patch with an angled edge glued onto fiberglass mesh of a larger diameter than the patch. Its objective is to repair damaged walls in cooperation with the Drywall Cutting Apparatus. Kits of several different sizes containing the Drywall Cutting Apparatus, patches, taping knife, and spackling paste are created for walls with varying degrees of damage.

Abstract:
A prop assembly has interior and exterior members. Each member includes a plate with distal and proximal surfaces and attachment components on the distal surface of the interior member. The distal surface of the interior member is adapted to be secured to a support surface. The interior member includes a cylindrical tube with threads. The exterior member includes a cylindrical tube with threads. The threads of the tubes are rotatable with respect to each other. In this manner the distance between the distal surfaces is adjusted.
Abstract:
A repair device for sealing a hole in a wall and enabling its repair without the need for numerous tools and processes, the device comprising; a body portion having at least two plate members each having a front face and a rear face; at least one hinging means hingedly connecting the at least two plate members to each other; a biasing means engaging the at least two plate members to bias the plates apart into an open flat position such that the relative front faces of each of the at least two plate members substantially share the same plane; and at least one attachment means mounted on a front face of the at least two plate members; wherein the repair device allows for insertion into the hole in a folded position and release to the open flat position and the attachment means provide attachment to the wall adjacent the hole.
Abstract:
A system for repairing an opening in a surface is provided. The system includes a surface to be repaired, the surface defining an opening therein, the opening being a removed damaged section of the surface. The system further includes a patch piece to be placed within the opening in the surface. The system further includes first and second components, the first component being adapted to adhere the patch piece within the opening from the interior of the surface and the second component being adapted to adhere the patch piece within the opening from the exterior of the surface. The system further includes a securing mechanism that is adapted to engage each of the first and second components between the patch piece and the surface, hold the components together by compressive force, and maintain the first and second components in communication until the patch work is complete.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a wallboard patching and repair system and method that are quick and easy to install and provides a stronger wall repair than available systems. The system allows a wall to be repaired with or without the use of mechanical fasteners. The invention comprises a system comprising, patch support members that are placed behind the edges of a damaged opening in wallboard and where a portion of each member is placed behind the wallboard at the edge of the opening and the remaining portion extends into the opening to support a wallboard patch. In one embodiment the invention is a kit comprising system components.
Abstract:
A drywall patch is coated with a premeasured amount of joint compound in its wet state making it immediately available for application to a wall surface. The patch with compound is sealed in an airtight wrapper or between unsealed wrapper halves which are in turn sealed in a surrounding airtight package so that the joint compound stays moist and will not harden over time. The wrapper includes a peel-away adhesive dry patch. In use, the dry patch is first applied over a crack or hole to be repaired. The wrapper and compound are applied directly over the dry patch and, while the wrapper remains in place, pressure is applied to smooth the compound over the patch and removed after the compound has dried. The wrapper is preferably composed of microporous breathable plastic film.
