摘要:
A lifting insert for a concrete sandwich panel is disclosed. The lifting insert includes a fiberglass rod and two end sleeves secured to two opposite ends of the fiberglass rod. The two end sleeves create confinement of fibers of the fiberglass rod to improve stress resistance of the fiberglass rod. The two end sleeves are also separated by a predetermined distance apart from each other to prevent/reduce thermal bridging. The lifting insert further includes two anchoring members secured to the two end sleeves for anchoring the fiberglass rod within the concrete sandwich panel.

Method and apparatus for attaching a part forming a lifting lug to fresh, prestressed hollow-core slab or massive slab, wherein the part forming the lifting lug is embedded by vibrating at least partly through the upper surface of the slab, after which the part forming the lifting lug is turned by vibrating, so that the lower parts of the lifting lug set themselves under the reinforcing strands of the slab.

A hollow prefabricated masonry wall panel is made at a fabrication site and is configured for transportation to a build site. The hollow prefabricated wall panel has a base row and an upper row formed of hollow blocks. A slit is formed in the top of each of the two side walls of the hollow blocks of the base row and upper row, the slit having a width no larger than 20% a width of a side wall. Provisional reinforcement is provided within each slit with a bonding material, a size of the slit and the provisional reinforcement configured to provide tensile strength during transportation of the hollow prefabricated wall panel from the fabrication site to the build site. At least one mid-row is laid between the base row and upper row so the hollow cavities are aligned to preserve hollow wall cavities that can accept code required reinforcement once transported to the build site.
摘要:
A method for the installation of a lifting loop in a fresh hollow core slab, said hollow core slab having its top surface broken for an opening substantially in line with a neck between the cavities, and said method comprises placing in the obtained opening a lifting loop-forming part set to bear against the hollow core slab's pre-stressing strands, the lifting loop-forming part's end sections being placed under the hollow core slab's pre-stressing strands by providing either a permanent or temporary deformation in the lifting loop-forming part. The invention relates also to an apparatus for implementing such a method, as well as to a lifting loop-forming part compatible with the method.

A cap for covering a lift hole of a lifting lug of a concrete slab, which cap comprises a flat circular skirt and a central portion, wherein from the lower surface of the flat skirt extends one continuous circular protrusion or a plurality of smaller protrusions in circular formation, wherein the central portion extends upwards from the skirt and is formed to be pressed down so that the upper part of the lifting lug breaks through the central portion.

Improved apparatus and methods for making, assembling and constructing a standardized wall and floor or ceiling panel made of a cementitious material, or similar material, for walls, ceilings, roofs and foundations. An embodiment of the invention implements both pre-cast and cast in place steel reinforced systems of interconnected panels to form a monolithic building structure. A panel unit is formed with longitudinal cavities and interconnected transverse cavities and when used in a structural system, a panel is connected to adjoining panels using an alignment plug. The interconnected panels thus provide passages or ducts for piping, wires and other conduit to run uninterrupted from panel to panel, wall to wall and wall to floor, which can be accessed through a closable access opening. A continuity alignment pipe or a shear transfer bar may be used in the structure. The panel may be customized by providing a door or window opening for applications calling for such embodiments.
