    Abstract: The present invention provides a cross beam of a canopy, which addresses the problem that existing cross beams cannot simultaneously ensure convenience of assembly and guarantee stability in use. The present cross beam of a canopy comprises a plurality of hollow elongated beams, an inner side surface of each of the beams has at least one protruding and elongated protrusion along a length direction of the beams, each of the protrusions is provided with an mounting hole or a mounting groove penetrating along the length direction of the beams, at least one long rod is inserted into the mounting holes or the mounting grooves to connect all the beams in series, and two ends of the long rod protrude out of the beams and are detachably connected with a locking fastener respectively. The present invention ensures convenience of installation and guarantees the assembled cross beam has good stability.

    Abstract: A frame connection structure for use in connecting tubular or open channel elements one to another includes two or more inserts configured for respective insertion within the elements to be interconnected. Each of the inserts defines one or more channels therein, each channel being configured to be aligned with a respective aperture defined within the tubular/open channel element in which it is to be retained. A connection member is positioned within each aperture and its aligned respective insert channel. A portion of the tubular/open channel member proximate the aperture is displaced into the channel of the insert member whereby the that portion of the tubular/open channel member is disposed intermediate the sidewall of the channel and the connection member. The two inserts are configured to be connectable one to another. Each insert is therefore securely associated with a respective tubular/open channel member and the inserts are connectable one to another to facilitate the construction of a frame assembly.

    Abstract: The elongated box frame structure of the present invention comprises a plurality of frame segments attached to at least one end piece. Preferably, two end pieces are attached, one at each end of the plurality of frame segments. The plurality of frame segments are attached to the end piece such that a column-like structure is formed. The inner space defined within the frame segments is substantially free of webbing. Instead, structural strength and stability is achieved by the attached end pieces. The end pieces of one elongated box frame structure are capable of removably connecting with the end piece of other similar elongated box frame structures to achieve varying framing heights and other dynamic configurations.

    Abstract: The invention is a connector for square tubing used in a system of construction and includes many designs but all having a plurality of orthogonal arms connected at a common point and including a wedge block at the end distal from the common point. The arm and wedge block have complementary sloping surfaces that expand the wedge block as it is moved up the slope by a draw bolt which enters the side wall of the arm, crosses the primary longitudinal axis of the arm and exits proximate the opposed wall where it engages the wedge block. The expanded wedge block secures tubing in place over the arm to the arm. The hex head draw bolt is recessed in the arm of the connector.

    Abstract: A connector kit for construction of structures from pipe such as PVC pipe. The connectors include a body (2) through which an aperture (8) is provided. Extending from the body are pins (4,6) onto which a pipe (16) is attached by sliding the pipe over the extensions. The aperture in the body is adapted to receive one of two types of pins. The first of the two types of pins (12) is of sufficient length that it will allow slotted ends thereon to extend out of both the top and bottom of the body when inserted. The second type of pin (14) will extend out of only one end of the body when inserted therein. The two pin types allow the use of a single body type for internal and external connections within a structure, but also on top or bottom portions of a structure.
