摘要： A completion assembly for subterranean use from a surface in multiple zones that are gravel packed together has a plurality of screens spaced apart with tubulars that define an annulus around them in the subterranean location for receipt of gravel in the annulus. The annulus spans multiple zones and the annulus is isolated from the surface by at least one packer. At least one barrier forming chemical is delivered from the tubulars into the annulus that has been gravel packed. The barrier chemical forms a barrier with the gravel in the annulus between at least two zones. The tubulars comprise at least one opening located between zones. A straddle tool is insertable from the surface into said tubulars to isolate the opening for chemical delivery into the annulus.

摘要： An aquifer recharge valve assembly comprises a valve movable along the interior of a pipe section to open and close aquifer recharge openings through the pipe section. The position of the valve controls the extent to which the recharge openings are available for delivery of recharge water into the aquifer. The valve may be a seamless resilient cylinder which expands due to well head pressure to assist in sealing the recharge openings when the valve is closed.

The method includes identifying a region of the well that is low in contamination and a region of the well that is high in contamination, and modifying the pump and pipe assembly so that suction of the assembly is enhanced in the region that is low in contamination and inhibited in the region that is high in contamination. Modifying the pump and pipe assembly can include coupling a suction control device to the pump and pipe assembly, and positioning the suction control device in the region of low contamination. In addition, modifying the assembly can include positioning a flow control disk in a location that is substantially between the region of low concentration and the region of high concentration.

摘要： The invention refers to a device for creating in an aquifer an oxidation and precipitation zone or a reduction zone between a number of injection wells arranged around one or more extraction wells for purified water, said injection wells each comprising an outer water-pervious tube (1). For preventing such a device from being clogged the invention suggests that at the upper end of the outer tube (1) is mounted a circulation vessel (2) from which extends downwardly within the outer tube (1) a first conduit (3), ending at the height of the upper portion of the aquifer and provided with a pressure inlet means (5) so as to form an upper ejector, and a second conduit (4), which at its lower end supports an externally sealingly mounted balloon body (7), which is inflatable into sealing engagement with the inner surface of the outer tube (1), said second conduit closely above said body carrying a pressure inlet means (6), so as to form a second ejector.
