    摘要: The invention describes a well (10) that can be buried for housing and protecting electro-hydraulic apparatuses, in particular for electric and hydraulic apparatuses of irrigation systems. The well (10) comprises a main body (12) for housing the apparatuses and a cover (14), applied onto an upper opening of such a main body (12). The main body (12) is also provided with one or more further openings (16), foreseen on the base (18) and/or on one or more of the side walls (20) of such a main body (12), to allow the electric and/or hydraulic supply ducts of the apparatuses to pass. On the cover (14) there is at least one lifting handle (22) capable of making it easier to open and close the cover (14) to carry out maintenance operations on the apparatuses contained in the main body (12) of the well (10).     摘要: A screw cap assembly for clamping a cover in an opening includes a threaded rod adapted to engage the cover and a clamp threadably connected to the threaded rod. A retainer is adapted to support the threaded rod and to limit the range of movement of the clamp along the threaded rod. Rotational movement of the threaded rod causes the clamp to rotate and travel toward the cover until it engages a first abutment of the retainer, which prevents further rotational movement of the clamp, such that only movement toward the cover in a direction parallel the threaded rod is permitted. Rotational movement of the threaded rod in an opposite direction causes the clamp to rotate and travel away from the cover until the clamp engages a second abutment of the retainer adapted to engage the clamp to prevent further movement of the clamp away from the cover.

    摘要: A riser formed from a plurality of curved cylindrical segments with vertical side edges having mating vertically tapered projections and slots brought into interlocking engagement to pull confronting surfaces together as the tapered elements become increasingly mechanically engaged. The segments are assembled by a sliding engagement of the protruding mating element of one segment into the vertically tapered slot of an adjacent segment. When sufficient segments are joined together horizontally to complete a ring except for a last adjacent pair of vertical side edges, the ring is warped to align the protruding mating element of the last adjacent pair of vertical side edges with an opposite end of the adjacent tapered slot. Thus aligned, the final protruding mating element and tapered slot are then slipped together while un-warping the joined segments forming the remainder of the ring until the top and bottom ends of all the segments are aligned. A cover has a flexible spider on a lower surface that can be locked into a groove or other feature on an inside surface of the curved riser segments.
