    摘要： An apparatus for the production of rectangular mattress plates from a length of material includes a base frame, a feed drive for feeding the length of material in a transport direction (A), two lateral sewing stations, each provided with a longitudinal sewing head for producing a lateral seam and with a longitudinal cutter, a transverse sewing station provided with a transverse sewing head and a transverse cutter that can be moved along a crossbeam, and a control device for controlling the feed drive, the transverse drive, the lateral sewing stations, and the transverse sewing station. The lateral sewing stations are each pivotable by a rotary drive about an axis extending perpendicularly with regard to the plane of a transport path of the material and moveable along crossbeams by a translatory drive. The translatory drive and the rotary drive are controllable by the control device in coordination with the feed drive.

    摘要： A frame is provided for mounting a fabric layer stack and retaining it in a substantially taut condition. The frame is supported for manually guided movement beneath a fixedly located stitch head and a detector is provided to produce signals representing the magnitude of frame translation, and thus the magnitude of stack translation. The detector signals are applied to control circuitry to actuate the stitch head at a rate related to stack translation speed. The frame is supported by bearings; wheels, slides, etc, which permit the frame to be freely manually guided across a frame supporting surface beneath the stitch head.

    摘要： An industrial sewing machine having a main shaft which can be driven by an electric motor drive, a positioner disposed on the main shaft, a regulating and control system controlling the electric motor drive, an operating and display system, and an interface system producing the connection between the operating and display system on the one hand and the regulating and control system on the other. Such an industrial sewing machine is to be configured such that great freedom from electrical interference will be achieved in spite of the individual connection of additional unfiltered electrical components. For this purpose two lines are provided for each component for carrying signals back and forth among any number of connected components, and the output of each of the connected components has a driver stage with a system for inverting the signal that is to be transmitted, an inverted signal being transmitted over the one line and a non-inverted signal over the other, and the input of each of the connected components includes a difference detector to determine the difference between the two arriving signals.

    摘要： A needle positioner for a sewing machine having a shaft connected to a main drive motor to move a sewing machine needle reciprocally by a stitching operation which includes a crank rotatably supported on a frame drivably connected to the sewing machine shaft with a plurality of pneumatically actuated cylinder/piston assemblies, the pistons of which are engagable with the crank to move the crank and therefore the shaft through predetermined rotary angles together with a plurality of conduits having valves including control valves therein which are adapted to communicate the cylinder/piston assemblies with a source of pneumatic pressure so that selective actuation of the control valves produces rotary movements of the crank through the appropriate cylinder/piston assembly to move the needle into either a top or bottom position.
