Abstract:
A manipulator (16) is provided in the case of a method and device for winding of warp strips (19) in at least two adjacently arranged sections onto the drum (9) of a sectional warping plant. On completion of the winding sequence for a section, the yarns of the warping strip (19) are separated, and not only the strip-start (29) oriented towards the yarn feed arrangement (10, 11) but also the strip-end oriented towards the drum (9) is joined by at least one flat body (18, 18a), transverse to the run of the yarns, and are thus fixed.
Abstract:
During sizing division, a rod grid (19) comprising lease rods (7a to 7e) is used for the formation of a shed, the rod grid being able to be raised with the aid of a lifting device (22) from a middle position into an upper operating position (O). A lower operating position (U) is limited by a mechanical stop (21), the individual lease rods being sequentially permitted to fall from the upper operating position into the lower operating position by a locking device. At the same time, a yarn shed is opened for each respective cross cord (12) insertion, the yarn shed lying in the same position for each yarn group. The opening angle .beta. of the yarn shed can, in addition, be altered within specific limits. Automation of cross cord insertion is facilitated by this type of shed formation.
Abstract:
With the automatic shedding mechanism according to this invention, the warping conditions are inputted by using the program setting unit 151. When it arrives at the predetermined position, the warping drum stops rotating. The closed reed 38 is operated to from lease, into which the lease rods 88 enter so as to maintain the lease and move upward to keep the lease. Next, the lease tape driving mechanism 94 is operated to have its movable unit 98 advance, so that the lease tapes T will be let off onto the warping drum 12 to the predetermined amount. Then the lease tapes go between the lease to maintain them. The above operation will be repeated for every band for the number of times according to the total number of the warping yarns and warping width. Therefore the shedding procedure will be continuously performed without cutting the warping yarns for each band. After the warping procedure, the lease cords are passed through the holes on the heddle hooks at the leading ends of the lease tapes. Then the lease tapes are retreated, thereby causing the lease cords to be inserted between the lease.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a thread feeding method (the method) for feeding threads to a weaver. The method includes a step of feeding a multiplicity of strands of yarns with intervals to each line of the thread feed lines, while some strands of the multiplicity of strands of yarns are being separated from the other strands according to color or shade to be expressed at spots where they are either woven or knitted and are then fed to the weaver such that the colors or shades of the separated strands are combined to express target colors or shades at the spots where the strands are woven or knitted. The method of the present invention allows changing of colors or black and white shades of the threads being fed to the weaver. The method also allows the strands to be combined with other strands of yarns with different colors to express tens or hundreds of colors on a fabric.

Abstract:
For inserting a dividing cord loop into the opened shed warp on a sectional warping machine, a dividing device has at its disposal an introduction element (28) with a first, preferably movable guide arm (26) and a second, preferably stationary guide arm (27). The free ends (29, 31) of the two guide arms may preferably be led together in a pincer-like movement. The guide arms are preferably designed as tubes which in the led-together condition form a flow channel. With the help of an air conveyor (35), from a bobbin chamber (28) a dividing cord may be drawn off and as a loop be layed around a divided shed warp lying between the two guide arms and by way of a knotting means be connected to a cord loop. The connected cord loop is thereafter by way of a suction device or a blower device positioned and tensioned in a manner such that the cord loop bears at least on one side on the divided shed warp or on the warp web.
Abstract:
Individual segments (38, 39) are slid over a divided yarn strip (22) with a dividing device (35) and connected together on both sides (63). By this means separate separating elements (23, 29) are formed.
Abstract:
A supply roll of longitudinally oriented synthetic sheet is provided having alternating relatively thick longitudinal ribs and relatively thin longitudinal webs. The sheet is advanced, and selected webs are torn to separate the sheet into a plurality of tapes of a desired width. The tapes are then fed directly in line into a loom or knitting machine and woven or knitted into a fabric.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for thread distribution in a warping frame (1) which comprises a yarn package (2) for coiling a coil consisting of a plurality of threads (18). According to said method, a warp for producing a thread crossing or thread separation is produced, while the yarn package rotates, at the start and/or the end of a coil in a circumferential area of the yarn package (2) using warp shedding combs (40, 40a, 40b) disposed in the circumferential area of the coil (2). A partial element, especially a partial thread (49) or an auxiliary crossing rod (34, 56) is introduced into the open warp (51) while the yarn package rotates.
