    摘要： A method and apparatus of a toggle clamp assist tool for a toggle clamp having a clamp jaw, clamp arm, and a clamp loop. The toggle clamp assist tool comprises a base member. A clamp pin coupled to the base and configured to engage the clamp loop of the toggle clamp. An actuator is mounted on the base and configured to contact the clamp arm of the toggle clamp. A controller is coupled to the actuator, wherein the actuator is selectively in contact with the clamp arm of the toggle clamp when the controller is activated. The actuator may be one of a fluid cylinder and an electric apparatus.

    摘要： A tissue modification apparatus includes at least a first plurality of grippers aligned in a plane adapted to secure a first edge of a patch of tissue. The plurality of grippers are each secured to a first force actuator. The first plurality of grippers are each adapted to pivot relative to the first force actuator about an axis perpendicular to the plane. In some cases, a plurality of grippers are attached to a force actuator by a passive force transfer mechanism. In some cases, individual force actuators are attached by pivoted connections to individual grippers. Methods of treating tissue can secure tensioned tissue to a frame to retain the tension during a treatment (e.g., cross-linking the tissue with a chemical cross-linker).

    摘要： The present invention relates to an elongated pelt board for accommodating an animal pelt. The pelt board comprises a first wall element, a second wall element being spaced apart from the first wall element in the first radial direction, a third wall element and a fourth wall element being spaced apart from the third wall element in a second radial direction. The wall elements together define a cavity along a longitudinal direction. The wall elements defining a contracted state in which the first and second radial distances are reduced, and an expanded state in which the first and second radial distances are increased. The pelt board further comprising an elongated core element being movable in relation to each of the wall elements. The elongated core element allows the wall elements to selectively define the contracted state or the expanded state by moving the elongated core element in the longitudinal direction.

    摘要： A clamp for releasably gripping a workpiece includes a base member, a first jaw portion attached to the base member and having a first gripping portion and a second jaw member pivotally coupled to the base member at a pivot location, and having a second gripping portion. The second jaw is pivotable about the pivot location between an open, retracted position where the first and second gripping portions are spaced apart and a closed, gripping portion where the first and second gripping portions engage the workpiece and apply a gripping force to hold the workpiece. An actuator selectively retracts the second jaw member from the gripping position into the retracted position by application of a retracting force. A mechanism which may include a cam or an over-center linkage releasably holds the second jaw member in the retracted position independently of the retracting force.
