Process for making a particulate coated chelating agent (A) wherein said process comprises the following steps:
(a) Providing a granule or powder containing an alkali metal salt of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA) or glutamic acid diacetic acid (GLDA), preferably with a moisture content in the range of from 1 to 15% by weight, (b) treating said salt with a metal alkoxide or metal halide or metal amide or alkyl metal compound or with an alkoxide, amide, halide or alkyl compound of silicon, (c) treating the material obtained in step (b) with moisture or (c*) with ozone, (d) optionally, repeating the sequence of steps (b) and (c) once to 25 times.

A novel binder and/or disintegrant for obtaining a compressed solid composition for non-oral use, the binder and/or disintegrant being fermented molasses, a process for preparing the compressed solid composition and also a binding and/or disintegrating composition, which includes at least fermented molasses. The fermented molasses advantageously makes it possible to replace synthetic binders conventionally used in compressed solid compositions, while also being able to act as a disintegrant on contact with a liquid, especially water. Thus, a novel way is proposed for utilizing a product which was hitherto solely used in the field of agriculture and livestock farming.

The invention relates to a bleaching-agent co-granule containing a bleach activator, a metal-containing bleach catalyst comprising at least one ligand from the group consisting of di- or trimethyltriazacyclononane and derivatives of these, and a homo- or copolymeric polycarboxylate or its salts or partial neutralizates having a pH in the range from 3 to 9. The bleaching-agent co-granule is obtained in an anhydrous granulating process, preferably by compaction at a temperature below 100° C. The invention also relates to the method of using the bleaching-agent co-granule in dishwasher detergents and to a detergent comprising said bleaching-agent co-granule.

The present disclosure relates to an automatic dishwasher detergent which comprises metal complex of formula Mn+L(Amm−)n/m, wherein M is a metal cation, A is an arbitrary anion, n and m are integers selected from 1 to 6, and L is a neutral ligand of formula (II), wherein each X is as defined herein, and which exhibits improved cleaning performance in the removal of burnt-on soiling, to the use of this dishwasher detergent, and to a method for automatically washing dishes using this dishwasher detergent.
