    摘要: Apparatus for producing carbonation flavoured drinks has a number of features. Water introduced to a water break from the mains supply holds a value open whilst the carbonation chamber is being filled. A concentrate supply includes a metering chamber into which concentrate flows under gravity and from which concentrate is discharged by gas pressure. The concentrate containers include means to indicate the type of concentrate therein and the degree of carbonation of water is controlled by detecting this indication. Change-over from one gas supply bottle to another is achieved utilising the pressure of the gas in the bottle to displace an element which effects the change-over. Concentrate in supply containers thereof is cooled by coolant used from cooling the carbonation chamber.

    摘要: A portable beverage dispenser is disclosed and includes a self-contained unit that is conveniently located on the shelf of the user's refrigerator for dispensing a cooled carbonated drink. The dispenser automatically mixes carbonated water and a syrup of selected flavor and then dispenses the mixture for obtaining a low-cost carbonated drink. The dispenser is of relatively simple construction and includes a water container that receives water from the sink tap and further includes a bottle of carbon-dioxide gas that communicates with the water container for periodically supplying carbonated gas thereto for obtaining the carbonated water. A unique flavor selector valve assembly is embodied in the dispenser and operates to dispense the carbonated drink from a nozzle communicating therewith.

    摘要: A device for the continuous combination and mixing of a plurality of liquid beverage components in an accurately maintained adjustable quantity ratio, where a jet mixer has a central pressure nozzle as part of an axially adjustable hollow plunger through which the pressurized liquid, water in the case of soft drinks, passes into a receiving nozzle past the infinitely variable annular opening of a suction chamber through which one or more admixed components are drawn into the receiving nozzle. The adjustment of the annular opening for the suction chamber determines the overall mixing ratio to water, while the flow volume of the various admixed components is controlled by separate throttle valves in their supply conduits. Distortions of the mixing ratio during startup and shutdown of the installation are minimized by accurately synchronizing all shutoff valves and by keeping the liquid volumes within the mixer cavities within predetermined ratios.

    摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing cold, carbonated coffee beverages. The apparatus comprises a plurality of reservoirs for holding the beverage ingredients. Each reservoir is selectively connected to at least one dispensing pump that is controlled by a control unit. The pumps deliver the ingredients to a dispensing head that is configured to mix the ingredients external to the dispensing head. The basic ingredients are coffee extract, soda, and a sweetener. Additionally, ingredients such as decaffeinated coffee extract and water may be included to expand the range of beverage selections. The apparatus dispenses the ingredients in a manner that forms a desired creme on top of the beverage.
