摘要: A vehicle lift system includes a vehicle lift operable to lift a vehicle to be serviced by a technician. The vehicle lift includes lifting components for engaging and lifting the vehicle at liftable structures of the vehicle. Electrodes are positioned on the lifting components of the vehicle lift. The electrodes are operable to make electrical contact with the liftable structures of the vehicle when the lifting components engage the liftable structures. A voltage detector system is in electrical communication with the electrodes. The voltage detector system is operable to detect voltages at the electrodes capable of harming the technician. The voltage detector system is also operable to send a warning signal to the technician indicating that a harmful voltage has been detected on the electrodes when the electrodes make electrical contact with the liftable structures of the vehicle.

摘要: An automotive jacking assembly includes a jack that has a crank thereon for lifting and lowering the jack. A receiver is coupled to the crank to insertably receive a ratcheting wrench. A swivel is removably coupled to the receiver such that the swivel is positionable at a selected angle with respect to the crank. A plurality of extensions is provided and each of the extensions is selectively and removably coupled to the swivel. In this way the ratcheting wrench may be spaced from the swivel thereby facilitating a user to be remotely positioned with respect to the jack.

摘要: A lifting jack system includes a lifting bar; having a track of teeth running vertical along one edge of the lifting bar; and a foot secured to a base of the lifting bar; a lifting head secured around the lifting bar and vertically moveable along the track of teeth; a nose, extending outward from the lifting head for securing to an item to be raised; a gear system housed within the lifting head, the gear system having a safety gear with asymmetrical teeth; a spring loaded pawl engaged with the teeth of the safety gear; and a round gear with symmetrical teeth engaged with the teeth of the safety gear and the track of teeth of the lifting bar; and a ratchet bar secured by a ratchet to the safety gear and extending outwardly from the lifting head; the ratchet bar is to turn the safety gear via the ratchet, thereby engaging the safety gear with the round gear, the round gear then engaging with the track of teeth to raise the lifting head along the track of teeth; and the spring loaded pawl engages with the safety gear to prevent downward movement of the lifting head.

摘要: A lifting device for vehicles includes a column forming a frame, extending substantially vertically above a base, and a lifter movable along the column by controlling the rotation of a threaded rod by a driving device and by the movement, along the threaded rod, of a nut secured to a carriage on which the load to be lifted can rest. There is a fall-arresting safety device including a ratchet occupying at least a first unlocked position and a locked position engaging with at least one tooth of a ratchet wheel so as to lock the rotation of the threaded rod. There is a retaining device for the ratchet in the unlocked position and a controller for the return of the ratchet to the locked position.

摘要: A system for monitoring and/or controlling equipment in a hazardous area can include at least one sensor disposed within the hazardous area. Each sensor can be non-electrical and can be adapted to interact with the equipment and generate at least a first sensor output and second sensor output. The first sensor output can be indicative of a first equipment state and a second sensor output can be indicative of a second equipment state. The system can also include at least one converter disposed outside the hazardous area. Each converter can be in communication with at least one of the sensors. Each converter can be configured to receive the first and second sensor output and generate a converter output signal based on at least one of the first and second sensor outputs.
