摘要: A slider moving in a sliding direction between first and second positions shifts a second path-defining member, relative to a first path-defining member, between first and second states. A pair of movable members each disposed on a corresponding side of a slider in a width direction is movable individually in the sliding direction to shift between third and fourth states. The movable members, when both in the third state, position the slider to the first position and, when both in the fourth state, position the slider to the second position. Each movable member supports a corresponding widthwise end of the slider immovably in the sliding direction and movably in the width direction. A support frame supporting the second path-defining member supports a widthwise central portion of the slider movably in the sliding direction and rotatably on a plane parallel to the sliding direction and the width direction.

摘要: A paper feeder includes a guide surface arranged on a paper feed cassette and a roller arranged on a cassette storage unit. When the paper feed cassette is moved along a storing direction thereof inside the cassette storage unit, the guide surface placed on the roller is slidably moved by rotation of the roller. In the paper feeder, since the cassette storage portion includes a placement surface on which the guide surface is placed by surface contact at a storage position where the paper feed cassette is stored in the cassette storage unit, the stored paper feed cassette can be maintained in a stable condition, and oscillation of the paper feed cassette generated when the papers are transported can be reduced.

摘要: Disclosed is a tape cutting device of an automatic roll tape cutter capable of automatically cutting a tape fed out by a proper length. The tape cutting device includes: a frame detachably assembled onto the front surface of a case of the tape cutter, and having a slot formed therethrough and movable blade guide channels formed on both sides of the rear surface thereof; a fixed blade mounted on the upper portion of the rear surface of the frame; a movable blade mounted on the lower portion of the rear surface of the frame in such a manner as to be parallel with the fixed blade, and having a horizontal hole formed on one side of the lower end thereof, an inclined hole formed on the other side of the lower end thereof, and a sensor inserting hole formed at the center thereof; and a lubricating oil supply part for supplying lubricating oil to sides of the blades or a side of the fixed blade or the movable blade.

摘要: A system and method for improved accessibility of media output from a media processing device. Media receivers are coupled to an actuator such that the media receivers can be moved under manual command by a user, or automatically by a controller. Movement selectors are provided for activation thereof by a user. The user selects a media receiver for movement, and then the desired direction of movement. The media receiver is moved to a position most convenient for the user so that the media in the media receiver is most accessible to that user. In an illustrative embodiment, a laser printer with a plurality of paper trays is adapted to the present invention.

摘要: A sheet dropping portion abuts on a sheet conveyed in a first conveyance direction by a pair of conveyance rotary members from above to drop the sheet onto a placement portion by pivoting from an upper position to a lower position. The guide portion is arranged above the placement portion and extends toward the placement portion, and guides the sheet toward an abutment portion in a case where the sheet on the placement portion conveyed in a second conveyance direction opposite to the first conveyance direction by a reverse conveyance portion comes into contact with the guide portion. The sheet dropping portion located at the lower position overlaps a part of the guide portion when viewed in a rotational axis direction of the pair of conveyance rotary members.

Here, the pressing force exerted on the outer circumferential surface of the guide member by the stopper member between two different points of the stopper member in the circumferential direction of the guide member can be adjusted; the holder unit is immobilized by increasing the pressing force; and the holder unit can be slid by reducing the pressing force.
