Abstract:
A core conveying device includes a plurality of holding devices, a support section, a moving device, and a mounting table. The support section has a hole formed at a position corresponding to a positioning pin and is connected so as to slide in a horizontal direction with respect to the moving device. A size of a lower end opening of the hole is larger than a size of an upper end of the positioning pin. The support section is configured such that, when the support section is moved downward so as to grip the core, as the positioning pin abuts against an inner surface of the hole and the support section slides in the horizontal direction with respect to the moving device, a position of the support section in the horizontal direction with respect to the core is determined.

A gripper is described as including two lateral flanks that are directly or indirectly connected to each other at one end, generating a space between them containing an actuator whose lateral boundaries have at least one opening accessible from the outside. At least one reinforcement rib is allocated to at least one of the lateral flanks. A method for manufacturing the gripper is also described.

The present invention relates to a device for manipulation of eggs, particularly (though not exclusively) removal of eggs from a crate, at least comprising a gripper. The present invention relates to a device which comprises: —the at least one gripper (9) which is configured to grip the egg and which comprises at least two legs (14), these legs being designed to grip round the egg. The device comprises here at least one upward pusher (8) which is configured to push up the at least one of the eggs out of the egg drawer, container or crate with receiving locations for accommodating at least one of the eggs each, wherein the at least one gripper (9) is configured to grip the egg pushed up by the pusher (8), wherein the pusher (8) comprises a base (15) for supporting an egg and at least one arm (16) reciprocally movable along the base (15) for aligning an egg accommodated on the base. Use can alternatively or additionally be made within the scope of the disclosed invention of a carrier template.

A device for holding a container comprising a stationary jaw and a movable jaw mounted on the stationary jaw to be movable between a closed position for holding the container and an open position for releasing the container. A resilient element connecting the two jaws together to urge the movable jaw towards the closed position. The resilient element is a leaf spring having an end portion secured to the stationary jaw and an end portion secured to the movable jaw in order to carry the movable jaw. A container treatment installation is also provided including at least one such holder device.

A container transport device includes a counter support along a section thereof, and holding devices arranged opposite the counter support for holding and transporting containers. Each holding device has a base body separate from the container transport device. The base body, which includes spring elements, is configured to engage the counter support at least in a direction toward a center of the container transport device, to make contact underneath a neck ring of a container, and to automatically adapt to a container diameter of the container with the support thereof. The holding device is detachably connectable to the transport device. The base body, which, together with its components is made in one piece from plastic, is elastically pliable in the radial direction.

The end portion is moveable in relation to the base portion generally along the longitudinal centerline. One or more bands are joined to and extend between the base portion and the end portion. At least one of the bands bends away from the longitudinal centerline when the end portion is moved toward the base portion from the disengaged configuration to the activated configuration.

A finger chuck assembly and method for holding a bottle or other hollow article having a neck opening at one end, characterized by a support member having an axis; a plurality of jaws each including a finger, an actuator arm and an intermediate portion interconnecting the finger and actuator arm; and a chuck operator member carried on the support member for movement relative to the support member. The jaws each are pivotally mounted at the intermediate portion to the support member for movement of the jaw between a contracted position for inserting the fingers into a neck opening of a hollow article and an expanded position for engaging an interior surface of the hollow article. The fingers of the jaws extend generally parallel to one another and to the axis of the support member when the jaws are in the contracted positions thereof and diverge laterally outwardly away from one another when the jaws are in the expanded positions thereof. The chuck operator operatively engages the actuator arms of the jaws for effecting movement of the jaws between the expanded and contracted positions in response to movement of the chuck operator relative to the support member. Other forms of chucks are also disclosed.
