Abstract:
A child resistant packaging container having a closure and release mechanism is provided having a base section and a cover section, with the cover section adapted to cover the base section when in a closed state. The closure and release mechanism includes an inner aperture formed within an inner wall segment of the base section and an outer aperture formed within an outer wall segment of the base section, which is aligned with the inner aperture. A projection extending inwardly from a side wall portion of the cover section is also provided for engaging the outer aperture and the inner aperture of the base section. Thus, the closure and release mechanism retains the cover section over the base section and secures the packaging container in a closed position. The projection is released from the outer aperture by depressing a deformable flange and applying inward pressure to the outer wall, thereby opening the packaging container.
Abstract:
A packaging container having a closure and release mechanism is provided having a base section and a cover section, with the cover section adapted to cover the base section when in a closed state. The closure and release mechanism includes at least one first aperture formed within an inner wall segment of the base section and at least one second aperture formed within an outer wall segment of the base section, which is aligned with the at least one first aperture. At least one projection extending inwardly from a side wall portion of the cover section is also provided for engaging the at least one first aperture and the at least one second aperture of the base section. Thus, the closure and release mechanism retains the cover section over the base section and secures the packaging container in a closed position. The at least one projection is released from the at least one first aperture and the at least one second aperture by depressing a deformable flange, thereby opening the packaging container.
Abstract:
A container for food has a lid body and a base body, each of which has a side wall and a flange extending outwards from the periphery of the side wall. The lid flange and base flange contact each other around the periphery of the container when the lid body and base body are in contact. The lid flange or the base flange includes tabs on opposite sides of the container to retain the lid body and base body together while the base flange and lid flange are in contact.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a shipping container, a paper tube, an end cap and a method. The shipping container includes a tube and an end cap. The tube has a cylindrical body and an open end. The cylindrical body has a mounting opening formed therein adjacent to the open end. The end cap includes a circular sidewall that is adapted to be received by the open end of the tube such that the circular sidewall radially surrounds the cylindrical body. The circular sidewall includes a projection that extends away from the circular sidewall and into the mounting opening so as to releasably secure the end cap to the tube.
Abstract:
A container device with a tightly engaged cover comprises a container; each of at least two lateral walls having a buckling recess; a cover; each of at least two sides of the cover being formed with downward buckling plate; an inner side of each buckling plate having at least one buckle; an upper side of one end of the buckle having a buckling block. When the cover covers upon the container, the buckling plates of the cover will be expanded so that the cover covers the container. The buckles of the buckling plates of the cover will align to and enter into the buckling recesses of the container so that the buckles move downwards through a length; and thus the buckling blocks of the buckles will engage in the buckling recesses of the container; and the container is engaged with the cover by horizontal insertion and buckling effect.
Abstract:
A wide mouthed container of synthetic resins for a paint, wax and the like, formed thinly in the body portion thereof by injection stretch blow molding is provided. A mouth portion of the wide mouthed container is of large diameter and comprises an internal wall integral with a body portion having a bottom, a belt shaped external wall integrally formed on the outside of the internal wall via a joint portion of required width to be in H-shape, and an upper and lower annular grooves between both the walls sectioned by the joint portion. The body portion is stretch blow molded thinly from the underside of the internal wall to a position where the lower edge of the external wall touches the body portion to form the side surface of the body portion on the same level as said external wall and to form the lower annular groove into a hollow in the lower part of the mouth portion. A plurality of ribs for preventing the deformation of the joint portion in stretching the body portion are integrally formed aslope onto a corner between the under surface of said joint portion at its external wall side and the inner surface of the external wall to provide a required number of the ribs in the lower annular groove at a regular interval.
Abstract:
A cylindrical transparent outer container has an open top. A removable baseboard is inserted through the open top of the container and rests on inturned flanges at the bottom of the sidewall of the container. A discontinuous transparent liner fits with its free ends abutting one another nesting inside and against the inner wall of the container and resting on the baseboard. A layer cake fits snugly within the liner so that the one or more layers of filling are sealed between the layers of baked cake by the engagement of the edges of the layers of baked cake against the liner.
Abstract:
A thermoformed packaging container includes a base section having a bottom surface and spaced apart inner and outer wall segments with a base rim therebetween. The outer wall segment has a deformable flange extending laterally and outwardly therefrom. A cover section includes a top surface, a cover rim, and a side wall portion, wherein cover section adapted to cover said base section when in a closed state. The packaging container includes a closure and release mechanism including an aperture formed within said outer wall segment of the base section, a projection extending inwardly from the side wall portion of the cover section operable to engage the aperture. The closure and release mechanism retains the cover section over the base section and securing the packaging container in a closed position. The projection is released from the aperture by depressing the deformable flange, thereby opening the thermoformed packaging container.
