Abstract:
A substantially moisture tight container and lid assembly for storing and packaging moisture-sensitive items comprising an assembly with a container and a lid, the lid is attached by a hinge to an upper housing portion of the container, the lid includes a lip seal member that depends downwardly from the lid, the lip seal member is configured to abut at least a portion of the interior side of the container when the lid is in the closed position resulting in a substantially moisture tight seal between the lid and the lid, and the container assembly further comprising a base portion and an upper housing portion, the upper housing portion is capable of being snap-fit into the base portion by employing a lip seal mechanism to form a substantially moisture-tight seal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a plugging device (1) that comprises a base (10) secured around the neck (2) and a cap (20) supported by the base and capable of movement between a closed and an open position. In order to improve the tamper-proof characteristic of the device, the invention comprises using, on the one hand, a breakable thread (30) having at least one longitudinal end permanently connected to a first portion (211) of the cap or the base and extending, before breaking, lengthwise along the periphery of said portion and, on the other end, a lug (40) permanently connected to another portion, respectively, of the base or the cap, and protruding towards the outside from said second portion. The lug is adapted to press at least on the free part of the thread until the thread is broken at a breaking area along the thread when the cap is moved for the first time from the closed position to the open position thereof, and to be interposed between the edges of said breaking area when the cap is then placed back into its closed position.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a button type container cap. The button type container cap includes a body having a discharge hole at an upper portion thereof, a cover provided in the body to open and close the discharge hole in a foldable fashion, a pressing part formed in the body to unlock the cover from the body through a pressing operation, and a resilient button member provided in the body to surround the pressing part such that the cover is rotatably open by flexibly pulling the cover when the cover is unlocked from the body. The button type container cap is prevented from being broken by external physical force because the pressing part and a spaced part are surrounded by a pressing part cover of the resilient button member. The button type container cap is prevented from being deformed or broken even if pressing operations are repeatedly performed.

Abstract:
A container having a receptacle and a cover is disclosed. The receptacle includes a generally rectangular base portion, a continuous sidewall portion, and a collar. The sidewall portion includes a lower end and an upper end. The lower end of the sidewall portion is coupled to the base portion and the upper end defines an opening. The collar extends around the sidewall portion proximate the upper end. The cover is coupled to the receptacle and includes a top portion, a skirt, a flap, and a tear strip. The skirt extends downwardly from the periphery of the top portion. The flap is hingably coupled to the top portion proximate a corner of the closure and is moveable between an open position in which access is provided to the opening in the receptacle and a closed position in which the opening in the receptacle is closed. The flap includes a closing apparatus to releasably retain the flap in the closed position. The tear strip is removable and is coupled to the flap and the skirt. The tear strip substantially prevents the flap from being moved into the open position until the tear strip is removed.

Abstract:
A closure for a container includes a base having a first end configured for mounting on a container and a second end enclosed by a top portion. The container includes a first projection extending from an outside wall. The top portion includes a platform having at least one opening for dispensing material from the container. At least one flap is coupled to the top portion and movable between an open position for dispensing the material and a closed position for covering the opening. A second projection extends from an inside wall of the base toward the top portion and is configured to coact with the first projection on the outside of the container, so that the closure is configured to resist separation from the container once the closure has been attached to the container.
Abstract:
A blister pack of a translucent plastics material and having a recessed front part for receiving and containing an article to be packaged, and a back part having a relieved portion for insertion into a recessed portion of the front part for closure of the pack. The front part has a plinth with an inwardly projecting ridge, and back part forms a plinth having an outwardly projecting lip which becomes inter-engaged with the ridge to lie wholly within the plinth of the first part thus to be largely inaccessible and thus prevent premature opening of the pack. The front part has a surrounding flange with a formation which gives the appearance of a weld thus to deter attempts to open the pack prematurely.

Abstract:
A closure for a container includes a base with at least one opening for dispensing a material from the container and a cover coupled atop the base. The cover includes at least one flap that is movable between an open position for dispensing the material and a closed position for covering the opening. At least one projection extends from the flap to releasably retain the flap in the closed position. A tab extends from the projection. A guide surface is provided on the tab and is configured to contact an edge of the opening when the flap is moved toward the closed position and is configured to create a wedging interaction with the edge of the opening when the flap is moved further toward the closed position. The flap is retained in the closed position by the wedging interaction of the tab and the edge.
