摘要： A standup forward facing rowing watercraft is disclosed. The craft includes a hull having first and second opposed ends; a deck affixed to the hull, the deck including a surface for supporting a rider who may face in the direction of the movement of the watercraft; and an outrigger attached to the deck, the outrigger including a pivot point that extends outwardly from the deck, the pivot point being capable of accepting an oar. The oar is capable of rotating in the pivot point so as to allow a rider to employ a j-stroke to provide forward course correction when powering the watercraft with one oar. The outrigger can be adapted to include a second pivot point extending outwardly from the deck, the second pivot point being capable of accepting a second oar. The outrigger may preferably be adapted for longitudinal movement in relation to the deck of the watercraft

摘要： Fatalities from hypothermia and exposure are increasing each year due to the vast popularity of paddle sports such as: kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, etc. A lightweight inflatable self-rescue raft stored aboard with the present invention attached to the underside, can greatly reduce such fatalities.The sponge-ballast system is a stabilization system that aids a person in the water to make a quick self-rescue boarding of any lightweight inflatable raft of any size or shape avoiding fatigue and hypothermia.The system comprised of highly compressed sponge contained in permeable enclosures, which enclosures in turn are secured to the underside of an inflatable raft, which the compressed sponge, upon contact with water, rapidly absorbs water through the openings and quickly expands providing prompt, sufficient weight and ballast for a wet person to climb aboard a raft as light as 5 pounds. The present invention used 20 compressed sponges to achieve such results.

摘要： A kayak paddle and accessory mounting system is a system for securely holding a kayak paddle and various accessories on a kayak. The system is mounted and elevated over the kayak cockpit in order to allow for the use of a spray skirt in conjunction with the present invention. A fore width adjustable support assembly and an aft width adjustable support assembly allow the system to be adjusted to accommodate various sizes and designs of kayaks and additionally serve to offset an accessory tray over the kayak cockpit. An at least one paddle holder clip and an at least one accessory holder allow for the mounting of a kayak paddle and an accessory such as a fishing net. The accessory tray may be closed via a lid in order to more securely hold accessories and personal belongings.
