    摘要： A single motor dual-motion actuator and method for a vehicle seat includes a pin actuator rotatable in the first rotatable direction from a pin actuator rest position toward a pin actuator first position and rotatable in a second rotatable direction from the pin actuator rest position toward a pin actuator second position. The actuator further includes a first actuator component and a second actuator component. The first actuator component is co-rotatable with the pin actuator from a first actuator component rest position in the first rotatable direction toward a first actuator component actuating position when the pin actuator is rotated to the pin actuator first position. The second actuator component is co-rotatable with the pin actuator from a second actuator component rest position in the second rotatable direction toward a second actuator component actuating position when the pin actuator is rotated to the pin actuator second position.

    摘要： A vehicle includes a front seating assembly and a rear seating assembly. An occupant sensor senses occupancy of the front seating assembly. A proximity sensor senses an object in a footwell behind the front seating assembly. A rear door sensor senses the opening of a rear door. A controller activates an actuator to move the front seating assembly forward based on the sensed occupancy, a sensed object, and sensed door opening. A method of controlling a vehicle seating assembly includes the steps of: sensing the front seating assembly is unoccupied with the occupant sensor; detecting in the footwell behind the front seating assembly with the proximity sensor; sensing a rear door position with the door sensor; and moving the front seating assembly forward when the front seating assembly is unoccupied, an object is in the footwell, and the rear door is in an open position.

    摘要： The invention relates to an arrangement for use of a functional seat, which seat is intended particularly for assisting a person sitting thereon to stand up from a sitting position. The arrangement comprises a seat part (1) provided/to be provided in connection with a sitting base (A) and being coupled in a power transmitting manner with armrests (1a) of the seat, wherein the seat part (1) is arranged by a movement mechanism (x) simultaneously on the other hand to incline from an essentially horizontal sitting-position (I) to a standing up-position (II), where the seat part is inclined down ward toward its front edge, and on the other hand to move upward while being inclined to the standing up-position (II) from the sitting-position (I) particularly in order to enable assisting a standing up-movement, advantageously by influence of the person him-/herself sitting on the seat part (1), by exploiting his/her upper body through using hand force. The arrangement comprises driving means (y), including at least a locking assembly (y1) for an locking the seat essentially immovably to its sitting-position (I) and a releasing assembly (y2) for reinstating the movement function of the seat by releasing it from its sitting-position (I), wherein releasing assembly (y; y2) of the driving means is arranged to operate by influence of the power directed to the seat part (1) from the person sitting on the seat, in order to activate the movement function of the seat automatically when the person is sitting on the seat.

    摘要： An articulated seating system supports a user seat using a mounting assembly, a fore-aft slide assembly, a swivel assembly and an extension assembly driven by a drive packet having one or more motors or the like. The seat is moved from a secured drive position (e.g., a standard interior vehicle seat position) to an extension position (wherein the seat faces out of a vehicle doorway) and finally to an access position outside the vehicle, facilitating access for a user having limited mobility, strength, etc. Extendible supporting arms engage and enclose guide rollers to allow stable and precise control of lateral and vertical seat movement. Moving between the drive and extension positions, the seat can move through a narrow transition corridor in the motor vehicle. The motors can operate manually to allow securing the seat in the drive position despite power or other failure.
