    Abstract: It is provided a vehicle seat having a base and a displaceable seat member which when a backrest of the vehicle seat is tilted forward can be lowered at least with a front portion in the direction of the base, wherein there is provided a guiding element which when the front portion of the seat member is lowered can be displaced on a slotted guiding member for the guiding element from a first portion of the slotted guiding member to a second portion of the slotted guiding member. The slotted guiding member or the guiding element is provided on a blocking element of a blocking device of the vehicle seat. The blocking element with the slotted guiding member or with the guiding element can be displaced under the action of acceleration forces which occur in the event of a crash relative to the base.

    Abstract: A vehicle comprises: a floor pan; a riser attached to the floor pan, the riser comprising a pin-guide surface at least partially surrounding a pin-receiving aperture, the pin-guide surface having an angled portion; and a seatback comprising a retractable pivot pin assembly, which includes a pin; inserted into the pin-receiving aperture of the riser; wherein, the pin is inserted into the pin-receiving aperture; and wherein, during the insertion of the pin into the pin-receiving aperture, the pin first contacts the angled portion of the pin-guide surface while the pin is in an extended state. During the insertion of the pin into the pin-receiving aperture, as the pin moves toward the pin-receiving aperture, the angled portion of the pin-guide surface forces the pin toward a retracted state within the retractable pivot pin assembly.

    Abstract: A vehicle seat locking unit (10) includes a lock housing having a receptacle opening (19) for receiving a locking bolt (12). A rotary latch (20) is mounted to swivel around a bearing bolt (51) and has a hook aperture (21) for locking together with the locking bolt. The bearing bolt is aligned in an axial direction and the receptacle opening is delimited by a locking bolt stop element (61), located in the hook aperture, which axially protrudes into the lock housing. In a locked state the locking bolt extends in the axial direction. A first contact region (71), between the locking bolt and the stop element, and a second contact region (72), between the locking bolt and the rotary latch, partially overlap in the axial direction, or the first contact region lies completely within the second contact region in the axial direction. A vehicle seat (1) includes such locking unit.
