摘要： A safe metal free and hookless winch rope includes a stopper knot formed at an end of the winch rope that is opposite an end of the winch rope intended to be wound around a winch, and a plurality of brummel style openings formed inline along at least a portion of the winch rope. The stopper knot can be selectively inserted into any brummel style opening of the plurality of brummel style openings to wrap around an object during a winch operation and the stopper knot will be securely held in the selected brummel style opening when the winch rope is under tension during the winch operation.

摘要： A scooter and cart connection device allows connection of a shopping cart to a personal scooter to facilitate shopping. The device includes a conduit having a first opening, a second opening, and a medial opening. A cord extends through the conduit with a first end extending from the first opening and a second end extending from the second opening. A medial section of the cord extends from the medial opening defining a loop. A pin is positionable to extend through the loop wherein the cord is coupled to a connector extending from a scooter. Each of a pair of hooks is coupled to an associated one of the first end and the second end of the cord for coupling to a basket of a cart.

The tow adapter includes a bracket adapted to be attached to the towing vehicle, a loop suitable to support a tether to enable the towing vehicle to tow the device to be towed, the loop having first and second ends operably mounted to the bracket, a hook operably mounted to the bracket and positioned central of the loop such that at least part of a curved portion of the hook is disposed within the loop, the hook and the loop being pivotable relative to the bracket about a pivot operably attached to the bracket. The tether may be threaded through the loop and attached to the hook to enable the towing vehicle to tow the device to be towed.

摘要： A clevis pin combination comprises a clevis made of aluminum alloy; and a pin made of steel. This combination of parts and materials results in lighter weight and improved performance of maximum load carrying capacity over similar combinations of all aluminum or all steel. The clevis further comprises a first clevis leg having a first clevis aperture in a first clevis end and a second clevis leg having a second clevis aperture in a second clevis end. The second clevis end is spaced apart from the first clevis end forming an open end. A curved portion connecting the first clevis leg and the second clevis leg forms a closed end. The first clevis aperture and the second clevis aperture are axially aligned and the steel pin is sized to fit through the first clevis aperture and second clevis aperture allowing pivoting movement between the clevis and the pin. The clevis may be substantially U-shaped. At least the curved portion of the clevis may by significantly wider than it is thick, such that it is flat in cross-section. Alternatively, the clevis may be significantly wider than it is thick, such that it is flat in cross-section. The curved portion or the entire clevis may be formed of a single piece of solid aluminum bar stock bent into a U-shape, forming a weldless and seamless U-shaped clevis.

摘要： A device for safely towing a skater behind a bicycle includes a towline retractably coupled to a bicycle and having a handle at a free end being configured to permit the grasping thereto by no more than two fingers of a skater being towed therebehind. The handle provides a limited grip to the skater so that it is easily released from his or her hand in the case of a sudden change in motion. Additionally, the present towing device is retractable to prevent entanglement of the towline in the bicycle wheel. Advantageously, the device is preferably configured to facilitate pivoting for skating on both sides of the bicycle and angular adjustment for skaters of varying heights.

The tow strap apparatus further include a tow strap webbing for winding about the hub, means for attaching at least one end of the tow strap webbing to a vehicle to be towed, and means for biasing the reel to wind the tow strap onto the hub. When the tow strap is in a fully extended position, the tow strap apparatus is configured to transmit substantially all of a tension force applied by a towing vehicle to a towed vehicle through only the tow strap. In addition or alternatively, the means for biasing applies a biasing force to automatically wind the tow strap webbing onto the hub. In addition or alternatively, the tow strap webbing is non-disjoint and includes two ends that are each extendable from the casing.
