    摘要: Tread (1) for a heavy-duty vehicle tire having, when new, a tread surface (10), with at least one evolving cut (2) comprising a part (22) hidden inside the tread which is delimited by opposing walls (221, 222) distant from one another by a maximum width Lc. The part (22) being extended towards the tread surface (10) by a sipe (21), opening into the hidden part (22) to be offset from one of the walls (221, 222) delimiting the hidden part to form a bridge situated radially over said hidden part (22). The tread having a plurality of grooves (4) open when new onto the tread surface (10), these grooves (4) opening into an evolving cut (2) to form a connecting region (41), the tread (1) further comprising, in at least 50% of the connecting regions (41, 42), a protuberance (5) extending over the entire height Hc of the hidden part (22) and over a maximum thickness Ep so as to act as a support for the bridge (211) situated radially over the hidden part (22) in the connecting region (41).

    摘要: A pneumatic tire is provided. A tread portion includes shallow grooves formed in a road contact surface of each of shoulder blocks, intermediate blocks, and center blocks, defined by a plurality of longitudinal grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction and a plurality of lateral grooves extending in a tire lateral direction, the shallow groove having a smaller groove depth than the longitudinal groove and the lateral groove. The shallow groove extends along the tire lateral direction, and at least one end thereof communicates with the longitudinal groove or the lateral groove. A contour line of the shallow groove is provided with at least one bend point. A sipe is provided in a flat bottom surface of the shallow groove extending along the shallow groove. Among the shallow grooves, center shallow grooves formed in the center block are each provided with a terminating end portion terminating in the center block.

At least one of the blocks has a first block wall (25a), a second block wall (25b), and a first region (26a) and a second region (26b) divided by a crossing sipe 30. In a plan view, the first and second block walls (25a) and (25b) are each formed in a convex V-shape so as to have an apex portion 27 protruding toward the outside of the block. The crossing sipe 30 has a first end (28a) positioned on a first side of the apex portion 27 of the first block wall (25a) and a second end (28b) positioned on a second side of the apex portion 27 of the second block wall (25b) in the tire circumferential direction. The first and second regions (26a) and (26b) each have a closed sipe 38 having both ends terminating within the region.

    摘要: A heavy duty pneumatic tire includes a tread portion provided with at least three circumferential main grooves, and a plurality of lateral grooves extending between adjacent main grooves or between one main groove and a tread edge, to form at least one block row comprising a plurality of blocks. The block row comprises a plurality of pitch elements each of which consists of circumferentially adjacent one lateral groove and one block. The tread portion has a land ratio in a range of from 70% to 80%. The block row comprises a number of pitch elements in a range of from 40 to 50, and each lateral groove has a groove width in a range of from 5% to 15% in relation to a circumferential length of the block in each pitch element.
