Abstract:
An adhesive-type wheel balance weight for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The wheel balance weight includes a weight body 10 having a rectangular band structure, a plurality of main through portions 20 spaced apart from one another at equal intervals and penetrating through the weight body vertically in a length direction of the weight body, and having a long hole structure extending in the width direction of the weight body; a plurality of connection portions 30 positioned between both end portions of the weight body in the width direction and both end portions of each of the main through portions in a longer axis direction, and additional through portions 40 provided at both end portions of each of the main through portions in a longer axis direction to narrow a width of each of the connection portions.
Abstract:
The application discloses a wheel assembly comprising a wheel comprising a main body, a substantially cylindrical wall, a front hub face comprising a central portion connecting a hub to an outer rim, wherein the front hub face comprises a socket for receiving a removable weight, wherein the socket or the weight is configured with a stop for preventing the weight from dislodging from the socket; a back face comprising a back central portion connecting the hub to the back outer rim; and the wheel assembly comprising at least one fastener for securing the weigh in the socket on the main body of the wheel.
Abstract:
A ring-shaped wheel ballast composed of a plurality of weight segments for increasing the traction of a tractor is configured in such a manner that only one bolt is required to mount each weight segment to the wheel disc. Each weight segment has a beveled longitudinal edge and a complementary beveled transverse edge. The segments are mounted on the wheel disc in abutting relationship such that the longitudinal edge of one weight segment mates with the transverse edge of an adjoining segment. This mating laterally locks one end of each weight segment and a solitary bolt and nut arrangement securely fastens the opposite end of each segment to the wheel disc. The weight segments are also adapted for releasably carrying perpendicular projecting threaded dowls or bolts such that a succeeding wheel ballast can be mounted on the wheel disc in side-by-side stacking relationship with the first wheel ballast.
Abstract:
An additional weight for a wheel for ballasting a drive axle of a working machine includes a first loading disk centrally connected to the drive axle and a second loading disk connected to the first loading disk. The first loading disk has a conical abutment face for pre-positioning the second loading disk relative to the first loading disk. The first and the second loading disks form encoding formations for mutually centering on end faces which face each other and which are in engagement with each other in a connected state of the loading disks. At least one of the end faces of at least one of the loading disks forms a spacer dome. In the connected state, the spacer dome contacts an end face of the other loading disk in order to position the first and the second loading disks with respect to each other in an axial direction.
