摘要： A roll paper comprises a continuous thermal recording paper and a cylindrical core. Line-shaped rear edge marks are formed at intervals of a peripheral length of the core on the thermal recording paper wound close to the core, by a step of the rear edge. An end hole, indicating the thermal recording paper is running out, is formed on the second rear edge mark from the rear edge of the thermal recording paper. End hole marks by the end hole are formed at intervals of the peripheral length of the core. Then end hole marks overlap the rear edge marks. By detecting the end hole, positions of the rear edge marks and the end hole marks are identified based on the peripheral length of the core, and printing of image frames are performed avoiding disposal areas including the rear edge marks and the end hole marks.

The spool 38 includes a first rotation member 56 having a transmission gear 47 and a shaft member 48 having a flange 48a. The first rotation member 46 is undetachably engaged with the shaft member 48 within a support hole 50 formed to the cartridge body 30 while interposing a side plate 51a between the transmission gear 47 and the flange 48a. An intermediate connector 46 includes resilient pawls 59 and projections 61 for engaging respective mating grooves 60 and locking grooves 62 formed to a takeup-side core tube 41, and is engaged with the flange 48a of the shaft member 48.

摘要： A medium tracking bar is incorporated into an imaging device for preventing wrinkles or buckling of a medium strip sliding over and touching the medium tracking bar, the medium tracking bar being centrally pivoted to the imaging device by a connecting piece and being centrally pivoted by an elastic element to allow the medium tracking bar to swing like a teeter-totter board in any direction to counteract an uneven stress problem on the medium strip due to a misalignment of the medium strip and to realign the medium strip when it passes through the device thereby to prevent wrinkles or buckling of the medium strip.
