An apparatus, method, system for 3-D printing that includes a nozzle and a movable platform, wherein the platform provides for a constant distance configuration of the platform relative to the extrusion emitter or nozzle thereby precluding the need to level the printer. The apparatus includes motion vectors associated with each direction of motion of the movable platform. A central point of origin is further provided for establishing the directions of movement of the movable cantilevered platform. The direction of motion of the motion vectors each pass through the central point of origin thereby providing a movable platform that stays a constant distance relative to the nozzle when moved in any planar direction within each layer.

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for continuously producing an artificial marble plate capable of simultaneously and uniformly hardening a raw material compound for an artificial marble plate, preventing the warpage of the artificial marble plate, and improving heat transmission efficiency and productivity. The apparatus includes upper and lower carrier films facing each other and receiving a raw material compound for the artificial marble plate into a gap therebetween; upper and lower horizontal heating plates, each including temperature controlling means and heating means for heating upper and lower surfaces of the raw material compound at the same temperature by the same heat transmission manner to harden the raw material compound, while the upper and lower carrier films moving along a gap between the upper and lower horizontal heating plates; and a pair of gaskets disposed at horizontal edges of the upper and lower carrier films for regulating thickness and width of the artificial marble plate obtained by hardening the raw material compound.

The invention relates to curing a binder on fibrous insulation (108), wherein, heated gas flows as a ratio of, an upward flow into the fibrous insulation (108), and a downward flow into the fibrous insulation (108), to heat the binder to its curing temperature; and the binder is cooled, thereby curing at least a portion of the binder to a thermoset state. When a remainder of the binder remains uncured, another stage of heating the binder with a ratio of heated gas followed by cooling, will cure the remainder of the binder.

A novel wallboard composition is disclosed comprising a unique combination of synthetic binders selected for their ability to establish a strengthened permanent bond in the final dry state in combination with an expanded mineral such as Perlite which largely reduces the amount of gypsum over current gypsum wallboard formulations, thus reducing the weight while maintaining the strength of the wallboard structure. In a preferred embodiment, the lightweight, strengthened wallboard of the present invention also comprises a covering veneer that is applied to the top ply of the face paper to provide increased strength, moisture resistance, and fire retardency, and the back paper top ply is treated to provide increased flexural strength. Additionally, this invention relates to the unique manufacturing process to produce the wallboard composition of the present invention in order to create a lightweight, strengthened, moisture resistant, and fire retardant wallboard used to cover walls and ceilings in construction applications. Still further, this invention relates to the apparatus for manufacturing the wallboard composition of the present invention, including a method and apparatus for economically converting a standard gypsum wallboard manufacturing facility into a facility for manufacturing. wallboard of the present invention.

In the case of extruding a W/O type emulsion having a high viscosity obtained by stirring a mixture of a vinyl monomer solution composed of a vinyl monomer which is water insoluble and in a liquid state at normal temperature, a surface active agent having a hydrophilic-lipophylic balance of 3 to 6, and a polymerization catalyst with water, cement, and synthetic fibers through a die, at least one rectifying plate having a given form is disposed in the die near the outlet thereof to direct the synthetic fibers in the W/O type emulsion to the extruding direction.When the tabular plate obtained by extrusion-molding the W/O type emulsion by the method of this invention is hardened and dried, a light-weight and high-strength plastic concrete suitable for building materials is obtained.

The apparatus is for the preparation of sheet materials containing resin, fibres and particulate material as a homogeneous mass. The apparatus has a continuously moving conveyor belt. The belt can be lined to protect the apparatus with a barrier material such as cellophane, and the homogeneous material is deposited on to it. A second layer of cellophane can cover the material before it is initially compacted or compressed under a nip roller. The material is further compacted under pressure from a train of reciprocating rollers moving up and down a length of the conveyor belt above a supporting plate to produce a uniform sheet of material. After complete compaction the material is cut, removed from the conveyor belt and cured.
