    摘要: A drill includes a housing and a motor coupled to an output member by a transmission. The transmission can selectively couple the output member to an output spindle through a low speed output gear or a high speed output gear for rotating the output spindle at a first speed or a second speed, respectively. Alternatively or additionally, a low speed mode can be provided by actuating an electronic switch that limits the speed of the motor. A rotatably fixed hammer member and a rotatable hammer member can be mounted around the output spindle. A mode collar can be rotatably mounted on the housing and around the output member for movement to positions that correspond to various mode of operation, including a low speed mode, a high speed mode, and a hammer-drilling mode. In the hammer-drilling mode, the transmission operates in the high speed mode.

    摘要: The invention relates to a hand-held power tool for predominantly percussively driven tool attachments, in particular hammer drills and/or chisel-action hammers. The power tool includes a percussion axis and an intermediate shaft that is parallel to the percussion axis in which a first stroke generating device having a first stroke element for a percussion drive is arranged in or on the intermediate shaft and can be driven by the intermediate shaft. Additionally, at least one other second stroke generating device having at least one second stroke element is provided for driving a counter oscillator. A phase displacement that is different from zero and that is unequal to 180° takes place between a movement of the first stroke element and a movement of at least one second stroke element.

    摘要: A multi-mode drill can include a transmission to transfer torque from an output member of a motor to an output spindle. A transmission housing encloses the transmission in an interior cavity formed by a gear case shell and a cover plate. The cover plate can be coupled to the outer shell via screws. A static shift rod can be supported at one end by the cover plate. A shift bracket can be mounted on the shift rod and biased to a mode position by a biasing member exerting a force between the shift bracket and the cover plate. A shift pin can be supported adjacent one end by the cover plate and biased to a mode position by a biasing member exerting a force between the shift pin and the cover plate. A spindle biasing member can bias the output spindle against the cover plate. The shift pin can actuate an electronic switch. A motor housing can be coupled to the transmission housing with fasteners so that the cover fasteners are not accessible.

    摘要: A multi-mode drill can include a transmission to transfer torque from an output member of a motor to an output spindle.     摘要: An impact drill minimizing transmission of vibration to a handle gripped by a user's hand. A spindle extends through a main frame and is movable in its axial direction and rotatable about its axis. A first ratchet is rotatable and axially movable together with the spindle. A second ratchet is axially movable but unortatable. The first ratchet has a first serrated surface and the second ratchet has a second serrated surface in confrontation with the first serrated surface. In an impact drilling mode, the first serrated surfaces is brought into abutment with the second serrated surface so that the spindle is reciprocally moved in the axial direction. A first spring is interposed between the main frame and the second ratchet to urge the second ratchet toward the first ratchet. A second spring is interposed between the main frame and the second ratchet to urge the second ratchet away from the first ratchet. In the impact drilling mode, the second ratchet is always out of contact from the main frame and is floatingly maintained within the main frame.

In the case of roller bearings, line contact is obtained. The area of contact is thus close to zero as opposed to a relatively large area in engagement systems using toothed surfaces. Use of point or line contact reduces heat generation and reduces energy loss due to friction.

    摘要: A hammer tool such as a rotary hammer, hammer drill or the like includes a motor housing and a gear case secured to the motor housing forwardly of the motor housing. A motor in the motor housing has a shaft projecting into the gear case and a pinion formed on the end of the motor shaft. A first set of ratcheting teeth is formed on a body rotatably journaled in the gear case. An output spindle for holding a tool bit is provided and has a longitudinal axis. The output spindle is rotatably journalled in the gear case so as to be also slideable in the direction of said longitudinal axis. A second set of ratcheting teeth is mounted on the output spindle so as to be in confronting relation to the first set of ratcheting teeth. A spring provides a resilient force for holding the first and second sets of ratcheting teeth in spaced apart relation to each other. A gear transmission is operatively connected to the pinion for simultaneously rotating the first set of ratcheting teeth at a predetermined first angular velocity and for rotating the second set of ratcheting teeth at a predetermined second angular velocity whereby one of the sets of ratcheting teeth ratchets over the other one of the sets of ratcheting teeth thereby imparting longitudinal impact blows to the output spindle when the first set of ratcheting teeth and the second set of ratcheting teeth mutually engage in response to an axial movement of the output spindle caused by the tool being pressed toward a work surface against the resilient force developed by the spring.
