Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an article used as a foam nozzle spreader tip. The article is brass or stainless steel and has a first surface, a hollow space removed from the first surface, first and second screw holes through the article and the first surface but not touching the hollow space, and a third screw hole through the article touching the hollow space. The hollow space has a half-cylinder region and a rounded trapezoidal prism region.
Abstract:
A spray applicator is disclosed. The spray applicator can include a carrier body including a number of contact surfaces and at least two nozzle bodies. Each nozzle body can be fastened on one of the contact surfaces and have a spray slit for producing a spray jet fanned out transversely to a center plane. the center planes can cross one another along a straight line. The straight line can extend outside the carrier body. The contact surfaces can face the straight line and be offset with respect to one another in the direction of the straight line.
Abstract:
A configurable nozzle includes a nozzle body having a reception chamber configured to receive an application mixture. The nozzle body includes a nozzle orifice. At least one orifice assembly is coupled with the nozzle body, the at least one orifice assembly includes an orifice plate movably coupled with the nozzle body. The orifice plate extends along at least a portion of the nozzle orifice, and movement of the orifice plate changes one or more of the size or shape of the nozzle orifice. An orifice actuator is coupled with the orifice plate, and the orifice actuator is configured to move the orifice plate.
Abstract:
A toilet assembly includes a toilet body and a nozzle system. The toilet body defines a toilet bowl and a rim area disposed along an upper edge of the toilet bowl. The rim area includes a flange defining an opening. The nozzle system includes a nozzle having a first end configured to be fluidly coupled to a water supply conduit and a second end fluidly coupled to the rim area. The second end defines an outlet formed at a compound angle. The connector assembly detachably couples the nozzle to the flange such that the nozzle extends through the opening.
Abstract:
A spray applicator (1) for spraying a fluid onto a web (W) of material has a first group of spray nozzles (10A) arranged along a first axis (FA) and a second group of spray nozzles (11A) arranged along a second axis (SA). The first (FA) and second (SA) spray nozzle axes are arranged on the same side of a plane in which the web (W) is run. Each spray nozzle (10A, 11A) has an elongated spray opening configured to spray fluid in a direction towards the web (W). The first spray nozzle opening of the first group of spray nozzles (10A) has an inclination angle which differs from the second nozzle opening inclination angle of the second group of spray nozzles (11A).
Abstract:
Spraying heads may be used in spray guns for applying a pressurized aerosol material in the form of jets or spray. A spraying nozzle for spraying a polyurethane material includes a cylindrical body provided, on a first end, with a base having a mounting aperture extending into the cylindrical body, forming a cavity for arranging a head of a gun. The base of the nozzle is in the form of oppositely-disposed leaves. A second end of the body is provided with a cylindrical shoulder, a through-bore of which is communicated with a V-shaped and laterally non-closed recess at the region of an outlet of the sprayed material. Oppositely arranged plate-like protrusions adjoin a lateral surfaces of the cylindrical shoulder. A mounting aperture end which adjoins the base has a circumferential cut. The spraying nozzle is provided with an attachment means used when in an inoperative position.
Abstract:
A surface treatment system includes a pressure generator structured to generate air pressure; a spray head assembly coupled to the pressure generator; and a hopper coupled to the spray head assembly and structured to hold surface treatment material, the hopper including an extended portion disposed at a top front portion of the hopper that raises a front top edge of the hopper to be higher than a rear top edge of the hopper, wherein the hopper is configured to provide the surface treatment material to the spray head assembly and the spray head assembly is configured to use the air pressure to spray the surface treatment material onto a surface.
Abstract:
A dispensing closure for a squeeze-type container produces a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment. The dispensing closure includes a closure body having an upper deck and a skirt depending from the upper deck. The skirt is configured and arranged to attach to a product container, such as a squeeze-type container. A flow conduit extends from an interior of the closure body and through the upper deck to provide a flow path from an interior of the closure to an exterior of the closure. The flow conduit has an entrance orifice and an exit orifice. The flow conduit has an inner wall extending between the entrance orifice and the exit orifice. The flow conduit and the closure body are integrally formed. The flow conduit includes a tip portion with an exit orifice defining a shape to provide a fan-type spray in a low pressure environment.
Abstract:
This invention uses a perforated hose or tube, of various shapes, sizes and wall thicknesses, to evenly and accurately dispense fluids such as lubricants, anti-ice, anti-snow or other liquids and/or gases onto railroad tracks including railroad switches, railroad crossings, bridge overheads, tunnel walls and even roof tops. This is accomplished by fastening or affixing, by clamp or other means, the hoses or tubes along the length of the railroad tracks, railroad switches, railroad crossings, bridge overpasses, tunnel walls and even roof tops for the purpose of manually, automatically and/or remotely controlling liquid or gas application of various amounts and at various frequencies of application. The hoses or tubes are connected to an operational box wherein a communication device, a pump/s, a compressor and reservoir/s of liquid/s and/or gases, such as anti-icing agents, lubricants, and/or other liquids can be delivered. The hoses or tubes can be a single set of hoses or tubes or they can be serially connected via easy connector boxes allowing for multiple spray application points.
