Abstract:
A glow golf fishing game set includes a stand, luminescent hoops, and a pole. The stand includes two or more formed rods, positioned vertically, and a straight rod with evenly spaced attachment parts. The pole includes a filament mounted to one end, with an attachment part attached to a second end of the filament. Each formed rod has a loop in it. The straight rod is suspended horizontally through the loops. A method for playing the game includes mounting the hoops on hooks; positioning a player a distance from the stand; casting the filament towards the hoops; and assigning a number of points to the player based on an outcome of the cast. Play is repeated until a number of casts are complete; all players have cast, and one player achieves a predetermined score obtained by summing the assigned points.
Abstract:
A game apparatus is provided and includes a magnetic pickup apparatus and a plurality of ferromagnetic game pieces. The magnetic pickup apparatus such as a wand has at least two spaced-apart game piece pickup regions wherein each pickup region incorporates a magnet having field strength differing than the field strength of the magnet associated with other pickup points. The magnetic pickup apparatus is capable of being manipulated by a user to magnetically pick up a ferromagnetic object using any one of the incorporated magnets. The ferromagnetic game pieces are provisioned having different colour, size and/or weight characteristics.
Abstract:
A board game based on the sport of fishing having a board surface having various features and players are given special privileges in order to catch fish according to a set of rules and steps.
Abstract:
The invention is a double handled angling paddle for use with a soccer table-top game apparatus, which includes a planar rectangular base area to serve as a playing surface with upstanding sides defining the boundaries of said playing surface, two pair of goal pockets positioned at opposite ends of the playing surface, and a movable object. Two, double-handled angling paddles are used to propel the movable object about on the playing surface.
Abstract:
A fishing apparatus comprising a flat, essentially vertical game board, a fish support mounted behind the game board, one or more flat, relatively thin fish-shaped members releasably mounted on the fish support, each fish-shaped member having a tapered mouth at on end thereof and a circular snare opening connecting to the mouth through a guide slot, a casting line, a plug adapted to be connected to the end of the casting line so that the plug and line can be cast over the fish-shaped members, each plug being made of resilient material and being provided with a nose piece adjacent to the connection of the line to the plug, the nose piece being receivable in the snare opening, the game board having a gap therein which is in alignment with the guide slot in the fish-shaped member, the gap in the game board being associated with a plurality of doors which are mounted on hinge axes for swinging movement when a fish-shaped member is pulled against the doors, whereby, when the plug is pulled into the circular snare opening and the line is pulled thereafter, the fish-shaped member will spring out through the hinged doors in a manner simulating the catching of fish in actual water.
Abstract:
An apparatus is provided for determining the identification of selected objects for use in connection with an electronic children's toy, which apparatus includes a plurality of objects, each of the objects including several object contact elements, and an identification member, including several member contact elements. The identification member is configured such that at least two of the member contact elements come into electrical contact with at least two of the object contact elements when the identification member is engaged with one of the objects, forming a complete electrical circuit. A processing unit associated with the identification member then is able to uniquely identify the particular object which is engaged with the identification member by means of an electrical signal generated by the processing unit. The processing unit then provides feedback to the user by audio, visual and/or tactile means corresponding to the particular object selected by the user.
Abstract:
A card set with which a complicated and interesting game simulating fishing can be enjoyed. The card set for game comprises point cards and player cards. The point cards comprise positive point cards of different kinds respectively indicating different positive numbers, and negative point cards of different kinds respectively indicating different negative numbers. The player cards comprise point capture cards of different kinds respectively capturable of at least one of the positive point cards, and hit cards to be used with the point capture cards. A player can draw a point card by presenting on the table a combination of a hit card and a point capture card selected from player cards which the player has drawn. Only when the drawn point card corresponds with the presented point capture card, the player can capture the point card. A winner is determined by the total points of obtained point cards.
Abstract:
A board game in which the object involves fishing for a prize, in which fish spring into the air when contacted and becomes attached to the "lure" on the fishing string and rod, and teaches a beginning fisherman how to cast and retrieve using an actual fishing rod and reel.
Abstract:
A child's fishing game for use on the ground or in water, having an elongated, substantially large diameter, flexible, lightweight fishing pole with two ends, one of which has a catching means secured thereto for use in capturing one or more substantially flat fish shaped members having at least one loop means secured thereto, and through which the catching means may be inserted when the pole is manipulated by a child.
Abstract:
A toy including a flexible cover having a fish-like shape, a filler material contained within the flexible cover, and an engagement material attached within an indented area within the flexible cover. The flexible cover has an area at one end defining a mouth for the fish-like shape. The filler material is generally pliable. The filler material at least partially fills the flexible cover. The engagement material is suitable for contact engagement with another material exterior of the cover. The engagement material is threadedly fastened to the mouth area of the flexible cover. The engagement material is a loop material. The loop material is suitable for contact engagement with a hook material. A fishing lure apparatus is provided. The fishing lure apparatus is covered with a hook material. This hook material can engage the loop material of the mouth of the flexible cover.
