Abstract:
A football board game, and a method of playing such a football board game, whereby the football board game includes a gameboard having a simulated football field on which a position marker is movable. Further, the football board game includes an offense-defense play matrix comprising: (i) an offense-defense play matrix row of first cells, each of which contains an offensive play indicium; (ii) an offense-defense play matrix column of second cells, each of which contains a defensive play indicium; and (iii) a plurality of third cells, wherein each third cell is located at an intersection dictated by selection of one of the first cells and one of the second cells, and wherein each third cell contains an offense-defense play outcome indicium which provides an offense-defense play outcome, whereby the offense-defense play outcome dictates movement of the position marker on the simulated football field.
Abstract:
A game is provided that simulates American style football. Action cards include offensive plays and defensive outcomes. Skill is introduced by the offensive play chosen by an offensive player. Chance is introduced by the defensive outcome corresponding to the offensive play selected by the offensive player. The game lacks dice, spinners, or other random number generators. The game includes one set of action cards, which are selected consecutively by the offensive player. As preferably listing only offensive plays, only the defensive outcomes, thus the results of the offensive plays, vary from card to card. The game includes a field with markers that may be used to track the progress of the game.

Abstract:
A realistic professional team sports board game, including an On-The-Roll mechanism where, once play begins, real time play continues, generally against a clock, opposing teams continue to roll dice continuing sub-play actions or elements, until a play is completed, as by a touchdown, tackle and a series of rules and charts, based on statistical compilation that maps various combinations of offensive and defensive strategies and dice rolls into realistic game situations and the progression among them. Both teams: secretly choose a strategy, generally by selecting a card placed face down; roll dice; reveal strategy choices by turning cards face up; determine a situation chart to consult, and further determine which result is selected from within the chart, based on some combination of which cards were played and the results of the dice rolls. A variety of play cards affect the overall game momentum of either team.
Abstract:
MF (Magnet Football) board game is a simulation of the real game of football. Decorated magnets are used to simulate football players for offense and defense players playing under the pressure of a digital game clock timer. Defense player is timed by digital clock timer to strategically create barriers using decorated defense magnets creating barriers within time allowed under the digital clock timer, once the timer is exhausted unused defense magnets may not be used for play result in weaker defense barrier. Timed by the digital clock timer offense player is to maneuver with finger(s) on top of offense magnet and direct the offense magnet avoiding being tackled by defense magnets (tackled is when defense magnets attracts to offense magnets) result in a down. MF has three methods to score points, touchdown, field goal kick, and two point conversion.

Abstract:
A card game apparatus includes a large-size panel display, a main control unit that controls screens on the large-size panel display, and a plurality of terminal apparatuses that are communicably connected to the main control unit. A game player purchases an integrated circuit card and, for example, eleven player cards on each of which, a soccer player's photograph is printed. When the game player arranges the player cards on a player card arrangement panel of one of the terminal apparatuses, card data recorded on the back of the player card will be read by an internal image sensor. Then, a team is organized by the player cards, and a game starts. The game player can direct a player's position and formation by changing placement of the player card.
Abstract:
A simulated football game that may be played using a deck comprising “run,” “pass,” and “catch” cards and other special football cards relating to moments of a football game or using an electronic device simulating such cards. Run cards may be played alone, while pass and catch cards must be played as corresponding pairs having corresponding yardages. An exemplary game allows scoring a touchdown by accumulating a drive of exactly 100 yards or scoring a field goal by playing a “field goal” card once the drive has advanced a predetermined number of yards. Abstract:
A card game, played by two or more persons, based on a competitive sport, comprising a plurality of cards, each card bearing numerical value and a singular action or feature related to the sport. Each of the cards is in categories of possession card, defense card or scoring card. To play a scoring card, a player is required to have a scoring card at hand, and have played a predetermined number of possession cards in the rounds immediately before the scoring card is played. Each possession card or scoring card has a predetermined defense card appropriate to counter the possession card or scoring card where the defense card has a numerical value greater than the numerical value of the possession card or scoring card. A player is in one of two states, one state being where the player is provided with the option of validly playing said possession card, and the other state being one where the player is not provided with that option.
