    摘要： An absorbent article constructed to isolate skin from absorbed moisture and promote ventilation. The article, which has particular application in the form of an absorbent garment worn to capture body wastes, has an absorbent body and liquid impermeable outer cover which stretch under the weight of the loaded absorbent body. A bodyside liner between the absorbent body and the skin of the wearer stretches, but to a lesser extent than the absorbent body and the outer cover. Accordingly, a gap between the bodyside liner and the absorbent body is created. The gap removes the moisture ladened absorbent body from the skin and forms a gap which helps air and vapor to circulate around the skin, promoting dryness.

    摘要： A wearing article includes pants having a supporting sheet extending between front and rear waist regions and a body waste absorbing pad formed in its upper surface with a first opening and releasably attached to the inner side of the pants. The supporting sheet is formed with a slit through which a rear zone of the pad can be inserted. The pad is provided on its upper surface with a joined sheet having a second opening. A front zone and an intermediate zone of the pad are placed on the upper surface of the supporting sheet, the rear zone of the pad is inserted into the slit so as to be interposed between the pants and the supporting sheet, free front and rear zones are fastened to the upper surface of the supporting sheet and thereby the pad is attached to the pants by means of the supporting sheet.

    摘要： The present invention provides a method of achieving low tension, highly conformable elasticized areas in a nonwoven web construction such as may be suitable for the waistbands or leg openings of disposable absorbent pant garments, cuffs on sleeves of medical garments, or the like. A web, or webs, of nonwoven material which make up the substrate for the elasticized area are provided to be very light weight and flexible and provide the minimal amount of substrate to which an elastomeric liquid barrier material is affixed. The absorbent, or liquid retention, section of an absorbent garment article made according to the present invention will have its own barrier layer facing the backsheet, in order that the backsheet may be composed of a light and conformable material.

    摘要： A form-fitting, pant-like, absorbent garment that does not result in bagging and wrinkling of the bodyside liner. The garment has a stretchable outer cover and a non-stretchable bodyside liner with a free-floating absorbent assembly located between the stretchable outer cover and the non-stretchable bodyside liner. A pair of highly stretchable side panels and/or at least one highly stretchable waist member are attached to the non-stretchable bodyside liner. The total transverse stretchability of the side panels is roughly equal to the transverse stretchability of the outer cover, thereby enabling the outer cover to stretch freely without inhibiting the non-stretchable bodyside liner. Alternatively, or additionally, the total longitudinal stretchability of the waist members is roughly equal to the longitudinal stretchability of the outer cover, thereby also enabling the outer cover to stretch freely without inhibiting the non-stretchable bodyside liner.

    摘要： A disposable, leakproof, containment garment for a wearer is formed from a liquid-impermeable containment shell in a substantially humanoid shape with elastic marginal seal areas, such as torso and appendage margins. The elastic margins are designed to conformably surround the torso and appendages of the wearer and form tensioned and liquid-tight seals against the skin of the wearer when donned. By forming liquid tight seals against the body of the wearer, the garment is favorably constructed to utilize the full capability of any absorbent structures placed within the shell.
