Abstract:
A collapsible drying rod has an elongated support potion that is collapsible into at least three portions that can be disengaged, or pulled apart, and aligned with each other to provide a compact collapsed drying rod that is held together by an elastic tether. A collapsible drying rod may have a center support member and extensions that extend out from opposing ends of the center support member An elastic tether may be configured within a conduit that extends along the length of the center support member and/or extensions. A collapsible drying rod may include a hanger portion that is attached to the center support member by a hanger retainer having a flexible extension that can be used to retain the collapsible drying rod to a support.
Abstract:
Geartac is a storage device that allows athletes to suspend and store the gear used in their sport. The gear could consist of anything from boxing gloves to skateboarding knee pads. Geartacs' multifunctional de-sign gives you the ability to suspend your gear from a completely portable utility belt. The belt is made from 2″ velcro strapping which allows the gear to be attached to the strap using the velcro straps on the gear to hang and store or to just air out and dry. Its' unique suspension system consists of a three way buckle which allows you to hang it anywhere on the go. The strap has a snap hook and a D-ring enclosure which allows it to be clipped to any hook, eyebolt, or horizontal bar. Whether you're at home, the gym, the rink or the ring, Geartac hangs your equipment in one compact space and permits it to vent freely while air drying to help prevent the spread of bacteria.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods for storing and carrying personal item. In one embodiment, the storage container is nested within a pair of opposing hooks in a stowed position. In a deployed position, the container can be rotated relative to each of the hooks. Further, one of the hooks can be moved to a deployed position such that the apparatus can be hung from the deployed hook, and further such that an object such as a coat or a purse can be suspended from the second hook.
Abstract:
A universal travel hook including first and second hook members and a connector member which pivotally connects the first and second hook members for rotation about an axis such that when in a closed configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the same direction as the second hook member in side-by-side relationship, and when in an open configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the opposite direction as the second hook member. In one embodiment, the connector is a split ring which pivotally connects to the hook members by extending through a through opening in the proximal end portion of each hook member. When in an open configuration, the first hook member is adapted for placement over a door or other object while the second hook projects outwardly therefrom and is adapted to receive and hold an article of clothing, a bag, or other object.
Abstract:
An S shaped hook with one open end with an opening sized to fit over and removably secure to a top edge of a vertical bathroom stall or door of a public restroom to position its other open end to act as a hanging hook.
Abstract:
A portable and hangable gear holding unit includes a main portion and a number of positionable gear holding members. Each gear holding member, which may include a hook, extended or orthogonal tab, clip, and or equivalents, is structured for engaging and holding at least one piece of gear above a ground surface. The hangable gear holding unit may be portable, and transported to a location for hanging upon a support structure, such as a partition or chain link fence, for subsequent use in holding gear.
Abstract:
A hanger includes a hanger body having a prescribed external peripheral shape on which clothing is hung up. A first magnet is arranged in a projecting manner on a rear side of the hanger body for attaching the hanger to a prescribed suspending place.
Abstract:
A system for holding small objects such as flashlights, containers of liquids for intravenous dispensing, tools, clamps, containers, receptacles, fishing rods, cooking utensils and the like. A bracket that attaches to an elongated prop such as an electrical conduit, pipe, railing, i.v. stand, wheel chair frame, stake, hospital bed guards, or post is disclosed. Bracket attachment is accomplished by placing the bracket perpendicularly over the prop and twisting the bracket ¼ turn. A variety of holders may be detachably attached to the bracket to enable a variety of objects to be held in a desired position. An interlocking, linked, positionable extension may be disposed between the bracket and the holder to enable the holder to be positioned as desired.
Abstract:
A new bracket comprises a single piece of rod bent at the outboard end to provide a device for hanging a flower pot or other item. At the inboard or baluster end the rod is shaped by a series of four perpendicular bends. The length of the rod between the first and second bends and the length of the rod between the third and fourth bends are substantially the same and determined by the width of the baluster transverse to the bracket. The length of the rod between the second and third bends is determined by both the thickness of the baluster and the angle of the bracket relative to the vertical direction of the baluster. To remain in position the bracket relies upon friction with the baluster in combination with the weight of the bracket and load on the bracket outboard end.
