Abstract: A folding chair includes a chair frame that is foldable about a plurality of laterally extending axes between a set up condition and a folded condition, and includes a table that is slidably attached to the chair frame for lateral motion between a deployed position outside a spatial envelope of the chair frame and a stowed position within the spatial envelope of the chair frame, and that is pivotally attached to the chair frame such that when the chair frame is in its set up condition the table is disposed below a seat of the chair frame, and when the chair frame is in its folded condition the table is disposed substantially coplanar with the seat of the chair frame.

Abstract: A supporting portion for a foldable table or a foldable bench is described. The supporting portion includes a V-shaped assembly and a supporting brace. The V-shaped assembly includes two connecting rods and a sliding sleeve. Each of the connecting rods has a disconnected end and a connected end. The connected ends are connected to opposite sides of the sliding sleeve to form a unitary block. The sliding sleeve includes a front ring, a rear ring and a middle piece. The middle piece has a locking hole. The disconnected ends are rotatably connected to a pair of legs respectively. One end of the supporting brace is connected to the undersurface of the table or bench top, and the other end is adapted to slide through the sliding sleeve. The supporting brace has an elastic pin proximate to the other end. When the foldable table or bench is in unfolded position, the elastic pin is inserted into the locking hole.

Abstract: A chair adapted to support a person so that his weight is distributed between his posterior and his knees. The chair includes a knee support and a seat support sloping generally downward toward the knee support. The sloping seat and the knee support co-operate to shift a portion of the person''s weight onto the knee support so that the weight borne by the person''s posterior is reduced, thus permitting use of the chair over an extended period of time without the person developing a pain in his posterior. An arcuate, lateral foot rest permits the person to place his feet in a number of comfortable positions.

Abstract: An embodiment is a lightweight, packable seat that includes a seat platform, two shafts for support, straps with respective buckles, or similar, that secure the seat to a vertical object, such as a tree. The seat may be made of a lightweight flexible material that is held in a stiff orientation that extends outward from the tree through coupling to the upper strap at the proximal end of the seat and the shafts at a distal end of the seat, where the shafts project downward toward a proximal location at the tree at the lower strap. Use of the lower strap means that the shafts do not contact a ground surface, thereby providing stability. The shafts may be made of composites or aluminum, for example, such that the entire weight of the seat may weigh just a few ounces while exhibiting strengths and stability.
