摘要： A fabric cover for a lounge chair to be fitted onto an adjustable folding metal frame, the frame being constructed principally of tubular metal including U-shaped foot and head portions. The cover includes a pocket fitted over the U-shaped foot portion of the frame and a second pocket fitted over the U-shaped head portion of the frame. The second pocket includes a padded inner lining and contains a hole fitted to the face of a person lying on the lounge chair on his or her stomach. The cover also includes two similar rectangular side panels attached to the opposite sides of the center portion of the cover, each having along its edge opposite to the edge attached to the center portion of the cover attachments for joining two side panel edges together, in order to secure the cover onto the metal frame.

摘要： A combination cot and backpack having first and second equal sized rigid frame sections which are hinged together at one end and pivot between a closed position to form a backpack and an open position to form an elevated cot. First and second sheets of flexible material are laced tautly between side portions of the first and second frame sections. A third frame section telescopes out from the second frame section to provide additional length for the cot. The third frame section is covered by a third sheet which unfolds from the second sheet and is held tautly by connectors underneath. The frame sections are made of tubular aluminum and have rigid downwardly extending u-shaped cross portions which provide legs for the elevated cot. Removable elongated storage pouches fit between the hinged frame sections in the closed position. A detachable carrying harness extends from a closure strap with a buckle which extends around the pack to hold it in the closed position.

摘要： A portable folding crib housed in a suitcase or similar piece of luggage is disclosed. In the basic embodiment, the crib-suitcase combination is so constructed that a majority of the total volume of the suitcase is preserved as two compartments for storing the crib mattress, clothing, and the like. Each of the two compartments is covered by a separate hinged door, the two doors forming the floor of the crib when the crib is erected. The crib structure when folded fits around the storage compartments which are covered by the hinged doors. When folded and closed, the structure has the appearance of an ordinary suitcase and is as readily transportable as the average packed suitcase. To utilize the crib, one fully opens the suitcase and unfolds the crib into its erected position. No mechanical skill or special tools are necessary to unfold or refold the crib. In addition to the basic embodiment, several additional embodiments of the invention are disclosed.
