摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems are described for improved application interaction for network slicing. A wireless transmit/receive unit may send, to a network node, a registration request including an indication that the WTRU is capable of receiving information associated with a temporal availability of a network slice. The WTRU may receive a registration response including the information associated with the temporal availability of the network slice. The WTRU may determine, based on the temporal availability of the network slice, to stop use of a protocol data unit (PDU) session associated with the network slice.

摘要: An overall architecture to integrate multicast and broadcast service into a general 5G core network. The architecture may provide methods and systems to switch the delivery mode of transmitting messages to User Equipment (UE)s from a unicast mode to a multicast mode. The method includes triggering events at UE, network functions, content provider or RAN node to initiate the switch process; a procedure for UE initiated switch from unicast to multicast; a procedure for network-initiated switch from unicast mode to multicast mode; and a procedure for RAN initiated switch from unicast mode to multicast mode. The architecture may also provide methods to switch the delivery mode from multicast mode to unicast mode. These methods may include triggering events at UE, network functions, content provider or RAN node to initiate the switch process; a procedure for UE initiated switch from multicast mode to unicast mode; a procedure for network-initiated switch from multicast mode to unicast mode; and a procedure for RAN initiated switch from multicast mode to unicast mode.

摘要: A method and WTRU for resource re-allocation is disclosed. A WTRU may be configured to receive a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) and receive fallback configuration information. The WTRU may be configured to receive an indication. The indication may indicate that a particular resource or set of resources are no longer available. The indication may comprise applicability criteria and applicability resource information. The WTRU may be configured to apply the fallback configuration in resources based on the applicability resource information on a condition that a characteristic of the WTRU matches at least one applicability criteria. The WTRU may be configured to transmit uplink data based on the fallback configuration. The fallback configuration may comprise at least one of: a measurement configuration, a configured grant configuration, a random access channel (RACH) configuration, or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring periodicity configuration.

摘要: Radio resource management measurements for new radio unlicensed are performed that are based on a measurement model where a missed received signal transmission opportunity indicator is provided to higher layers to adapt the measurement functions performed by the radio resource control when a missed received signal transmission opportunity is detected. Radio link monitoring for new radio unlicensed is performed based on in-sync or out-of-sync indications that are based on the estimated radio link quality in combination with missed radio link monitoring reference signal transmission opportunities.

The SL relay WTRU may determine any of whether to perform connection establishment, a connection establishment timer, and/or an adaptation layer configuration based on any of a cumulative weight value (e.g., broadcast by another WTRU), a measured channel busy ratio (CBR) associated with the multi-hop relay path, and/or a quality of service (QoS) associated with data to be relayed (e.g., from a remote WTRU or a base station).

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish a multi-access (MA) protocol data unit (PDU) in accordance with the examples described herein. The WTRU may establish a new packet data network (PDN) connection or identify a suitable existing PDN connection in an evolved packet core (EPC), establish a MA-PDU in a 5G core network (5GC), and associate the existing PDN with the MA-PDU. The WTRU may already have a MA-PDU session established in 5GC with both 3GPP access leg and non-3GPP access leg in 5GC, and the WTRU may replace the 3GPP access leg in 5GC with a suitable PDN connection in EPC. The WTRU may send a request for establishing a single-access PDU session in 5GC via non-3GPP access, and a 5GC network may upgrade a PDU session established for the WTRU to a MA-PDU with 3GPP access leg in EPC.

For example, a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) may be configured with the resources and signals to perform a Propagation Delay (RD) procedure, or a Propagation Delay Information Exchange (PDIE), or a Propagation Delay Compensation (PDC). The WTRU may receive configuration that may identify a reference signal (RS) pair for a path. The WTRU may determine that a trigger condition is satisfied for a path. The trigger condition being satisfied may trigger the WTRU to perform a PDIE. The WTRU may determine a propagation delay (RD) for a path. If the determined RD meets a threshold for the path, the WTRU may apply a PDC to an uplink (UL) transmission that uses the path.
