摘要： The disclosure provides cleaning compositions including at least one acid, at least one carbonate salt, at least one gum, at least one acid salt, and, optionally, at least one chelating agent. When exposed to an aqueous medium, the cleaning compositions may produce carbon dioxide. These cleaning compositions find use, for example, in cleaning textile fibers, such as carpets, drapery, upholstery, and the like. The disclosure provides methods of cleaning soiled textile fibers with a cleaning composition including gum arabic, at least one acid, and at least one carbonate salt.

摘要： A system and method are disclosed for an odor removal treatment system that includes a liquid oxidizing agent that includes a peroxide and water, a liquid buffering agent that includes a carbonate salt and water, and a cleaning device, wherein the liquid oxidizing agent is stored separately from the liquid buffering agent in a pre-application mode, and combinable with the liquid buffering agent to form a solution in an application mode just prior to applying the solution to a textile. The cleaning device may be a portable vacuum cleaning mechanism onboard a vehicle. The peroxide may be hydrogen peroxide and the solution may have a hydrogen peroxide weight percent of about 1.5%.

摘要： A surface working apparatus or cleaning implement that is useful in removing soils and other undesirable items from carpeting, hard flooring or any surface. More particularly, the present invention relates to a floor cleaning apparatus having a handle and an absorbent cleaning pad which is removably attached to a cleaning head and disposable after use. An aerosol canister is connected to the apparatus and a trigger is used to selectively dispense the contents of the canister in front of the cleaning head for cleaning the flooring. The apparatus includes a plurality of liquid extraction devices positioned radially on a floor-facing surface of a rotary head, a driveshaft disposed between a rotary motor configured to rotate the rotary head, and a housing disposed between the rotary motor and the rotary head for supporting a wheel, and a handle. The apparatus also includes an evacuation tank having a capacity sensor in communication with an evacuation pump, the capacity sensor configured to detect when a maximum desired capacity of evacuated liquids is reached, a vacuum motor connected with the housing and configured to provide a suction force to the liquid extraction devices to extract liquid from a floor to the evacuation tank, and wherein a weight of the rotary motor, housing, handle, retractable wheel, and vacuum motor is supported by the liquid extraction devices.

摘要： A stain removing composition having a mixture of N-methyl pyrrolidinone and at least one solvent from the group consisting of 1-methyl-2-butanol, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, propylene glycol n-propyl ether, and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether. Preferably, the stain removing composition comprises, in percent by weight about 70-90%, N-methyl pyrrolidinone and about 10-30%, in percent by weight, at least one of the solvents from the group described above. In another embodiment, a method of removing a stain from a textile includes the steps of applying the stain removing composition to an area of application. After the composition has been applied to the area of application it is removed with a suction device or other type of absorption device. Water may be applied to the area of application after the composition has been applied to dilute the composition and help in the removal process.
