摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for the design of symbol-group based spreading schemes are described. An exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a terminal, a first spread signal that is generated by spreading a first group of N data symbols using a first set of N sequences, where N is a symbol-group length, L is a spreading length, each of the first set of N sequences is from an orthogonal spreading sequence set that comprises L sequences, and each of the L sequences is of length L. Another exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a network node, an indication of a first set of N sequences, and receiving a first spread signal comprising a group of N data symbols spread using the first set of N sequences.

摘要: According to various implementations, a device, such as a wireless communication device, carries out the following actions: for each element of a spreading sequence to be applied, determining, based on the element, whether to carry out randomization on a coded data stream, in which each element of the spreading sequence belongs to the set {1, −1, j, −j}; for each element of the spreading sequence for which randomization is determined to be applied, applying, based on the value of the element, one or more randomization techniques to the coded data stream; modulating the coded data stream; and transmitting the modulated data stream.

摘要: Optimizing the resource configuration or selection for grant-free contention-based non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) transmissions is an effective way to increase network capacity and reduce multi-user interference at the user equipment (UE). In some embodiments, a network node may determine the current traffic load, select multiple access (MA) sequences for the UE based on the determination, and transmit this selection to the UE for subsequent transmissions. In other embodiments, the UE may receive a message with an indication of the traffic load being experienced by the base station that the UE is attempting to connect to, and then may randomly select an MA sequence for subsequent transmissions.

摘要: Reducing control signaling is an effective technique for increasing resource efficiency when supporting a massive number of connections in an Internet of Things framework. In the presence of sporadic and small data packets, the use of control signaling must be optimized to not overwhelm network resources. In some embodiments, a bit map in a control signaling packet may indicate if certain information elements that correspond to configuration parameters are present or absent. When they are absent, predetermined values for the corresponding configuration parameters may be used, whereas when they are present, predefined values from a set of predefined values may be used. In other embodiments, the predetermined values may be periodically updated.
