    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a water-soluble dietary fiber (WSDF), use thereof in preparation of a medicament that promotes metabolism of ellagic acid (EA) into urolithin A, and a pharmaceutical composition, and belongs to the technical field of biological pharmaceuticals. The WSDF provided by the present disclosure includes at least two components selected from the group consisting of gellan gum, guar gum, carrageenan, fructooligosaccharide, xylooligosaccharide, malto-oligosaccharide, pectin, β-glucan, polydextrose, sodium alginate, gum arabic, resistant dextrin, xanthan gum, tragacanth gum, and inulin. In the present disclosure, compounding the foregoing different combinations of the WSDF and EA to feed mice may significantly increase the average urolithin A content in mouse feces. Visibly, the WSDF alone or in combination with EA may improve metabotypes of the EA in the body and increase urolithin A content, providing a new means for treating diabetes, obesity, senescence and central nervous system lesions.

    Abstract: A method for preparing a sustained release antibacterial film includes: (1) mixing a cyclodextrin metal-organic framework (CD-MOF) material with a silver nitrate short-chain alcohol solution to prepare an intermediate material A; (2) mixing the intermediate material A with a caffeic acid short-chain alcohol solution to prepare an intermediate material B; (3) dispersing the intermediate material B in a solvent, adding a polydimethylsiloxane main agent and a PDMS auxiliary agent in sequence, and mixing well by stirring to obtain a casting solution; and (4) coating the casting solution on a film support material, conducting vacuum drying, and peeling off a film from the film support material to obtain the sustained-release antibacterial film. A mixed matrix-based film material in which the CD-MOF and the PDMS are physically blended is prepared based on CD-MOF and PDMS for the first time, and may be used in application researches of food, environment and other fields.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a caffeic acid-based composite material and a preparation method thereof. The method includes: exposing a cyclodextrin metal-organic framework material prepared from γ-cyclodextrin to a solution of caffeic acid in a short-chain alcohol to obtain a mixed material; and incubating the mixed material, wherein during the incubating, the cyclodextrin metal-organic framework material is in dynamic contact with the solution of caffeic acid in a short-chain alcohol. The prepared composite material includes a cyclodextrin metal-organic framework material and caffeic acid loaded on the cyclodextrin metal-organic framework material, wherein the cyclodextrin metal-organic framework material is prepared from γ-cyclodextrin. The caffeic acid is loaded in an amount of 15-18% of a total mass of the caffeic acid-based composite material. The caffeic acid is located in a cavity of the cyclodextrin metal-organic framework material.
