摘要: A skew adjusting apparatus for an optical disc player makes a positional adjustment of a guide member of a carriage for a pickup relative to a chassis. A movable body is disposed on the chassis. The movable body has at one end thereof a supporting member for the guide member and the other end thereof a connection member to the chassis. An adjusting device for making a positional adjustment of the guide member through the supporting member in the thickness direction of the chassis is disposed between the chassis and the movable body so as to be displaced from the guide member and the supporting member on a reference plane of the chassis.

摘要: An optical disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus records and/or reproduces information on an information record surface of an optical disk loaded thereto. The optical pickup apparatus for the optical disk recording and/or reproducing apparatus is provided with: two types of optical pickups for at least two types of optical disks respectively; first and second guiding rails arranged substantially parallel to each other such that the information record surface of the loaded optical disk is disposed between the first and second guiding rails, for respectively guiding the optical pickups along the information record surface of the loaded optical disk in a radial direction of the loaded optical disk; first and second retracting rails respectively connected to the first and second guiding rails, for retracting thereonto the optical pickups from the first and second guiding rails through linkages with the first and second guiding rails respectively; a rotator frame for holding the first and second retracting rails; and a rotating mechanism for rotating the rotator frame around an axis parallel to the first and second retracting rails and for swapping the first and second retracting rails to each other.

摘要: A disc device includes a casing, a disc processor, a drive motor, a transfer unit and a disc clamper. The transfer unit transfers an optical disc while holding the optical disc by driving the drive motor. The disc clamper switches a drive transmission of the drive unit in accordance with a holding condition of the optical disc with different diameters by the transfer unit to pivotally move the disc processor. The drive of the single drive motor effects both the transfer of the optical disc and the pivotal movement of the disc processor. A timing for transferring the optical disc and a timing for pivotally moving the disc processor can be suitably adjusted in accordance with the diameter of the optical disc.

摘要: On the inner surface of a guide rail (411) having a concave groove, which extends in the vertical direction along a motion path of a disc drive (200) moved by a mover unit (300), a biasing cam (412) having thickened swelling parts (412a) at both ends is so provided as to have the groove width narrowed at both the upper and lower ends. A plate spring (420) which is pressed into contact with a guide surface of the surface of the biasing cam (412) by elastic biasing force is attached integrally to the disc drive (200). At the home position where the disc drive (200) operates and at the position where the disc drive (200) is lifted up, the plate spring (420) is strongly pressed into contact by the swelling parts (412a), and the disc drive (200) can be prevented from being moved by impact or the like from outside during operation. While moving, the pressing force is weakened so that load applied by the mover unit (300) can be reduced.

摘要: A disk player includes a player housing. A turntable and a plurality of trays in which corresponding disks are detachably placed are disposed in the player housing. The trays are juxtaposed in such a manner that the surfaces of the trays are substantially in parallel with the disk bearing surface of the turntable. The disk player further includes a circular gear section for moving the plurality of trays to a playing position, a waiting position, and an ejecting position; and a drive section for rotating the circular gear section. Further, a circular cam mechanism is engaged with the circular gear so as to be turned thereby, the circular cam mechanism having cam section for moving a pickup section vertically in accordance with the position of the disk at the playing position.
