摘要: An X-ray analyzer includes a transmission X-ray inspecting portion having a first X-ray source and a transmission X-ray detector for detecting a transmission X-ray that passed through a sample from the first X-ray source, and a fluorescent X-ray inspecting portion having a second X-ray source and a fluorescent X-ray detector for detecting a fluorescent X-ray output from the sample when the sample is irradiated with an X-ray from the second X-ray source. A movement mechanism moves a sample stage that supports the sample. A foreign matter position calculating unit calculates a position of foreign matter in the sample, and a movement mechanism control unit controls the movement mechanism so that the position of the foreign matter calculated by the foreign matter position calculating unit coincides with an optical axis of the second X-ray source.

摘要: A differential scanning calorimeter has a heat sink for accommodating therein a measurement sample and a reference material, and a differential heat flow detector that detects a temperature difference between the sample and the reference material. A cooling mechanism cools the heat sink, and a thermoconductor is disposed between the cooling mechanism and the heat sink and forms a heat flow path between the two. A first heater heats the heat sink, and a second heater heats the thermoconductor to thereby heat the heat sink. The second heater begins operating before the first heater nears its rated maximum output power.

摘要: A thermal analysis apparatus possesses a temperature sensor measuring a temperature of a heating furnace inside, a temperature program setter which can set a temperature program and outputs a temperature program signal, a temperature control section adjusting a supply electric power to a heater in compliance with a difference between the temperature program signal and a detection signal of the temperature sensor, a processor section calculating an air flow rate corresponding to a program temperature, and a mass flow controller which adjusts an air flow rate supplied to the heating furnace inside in compliance with a signal of the air flow rate calculated by the processor section. In the processor section, operation expressions calculating the air flow rate are set so as to differ respectively in a higher temperature side and a lower temperature side than a predetermined boundary temperature.

摘要: To enable the reduction in working efforts by hand by performing control a drying operation by appropriately selecting dry conditions depending on the connection mode of the cooling device, and removal of moisture and the like without fail. The thermal analysis system uses a heater and a cooling device to raise and decrease the temperature inside the purge box. In the drying method for the thermal analysis system, the drying operation is performed by: previously setting dry conditions depending on the connection mode of the cooling device; starting control of an opening time dry process upon activation of the thermal analysis system; supplying a predetermined amount of dry gas into the purge box in accordance with the dry conditions corresponding to the selected connection mode of the cooling device with the cooling device kept off; and making the temperature control module control the temperature of the dry gas.

摘要: The DSC (DTA) signal waveform measured under an experimental heating rate condition is separated into a base line and individual basic peak elements, and the respective activation energies are calculated corresponding to each of basic peak elements separated. A DSC (DTA) signal that should be obtained at an another heating rate is estimated from the data obtained from the experimental heating rate and it is outputted. In this process, the temperature shift caused by heating rate difference is corrected using the values of activation energies obtained.
