Abstract: A shortcut graphical user interface (GUI) comprising user-selectable icons, each representing a shortcut and corresponding to and providing access to a resource, e.g., a web resource. When triggered, the shortcut GUI may be rendered in an application window, e.g., superimposed on the contents displayed in the application window.
