Abstract:
Techniques are provided which enhance a user's browsing experience by bringing greater attention to potentially relevant advertising content amidst non-relevant content. When a user access a browser to view content, information related to the interests of the user are used to identify relevant browser content to be used for potential advertisement targeting. The identified browser content is highlighted and stored for future use and the browser scroll settings are altered during the user's browsing session. In some embodiments, the settings are altered such that a user's ability to scroll through any identified browser content while displayed is slowed and the user's ability to scroll through the remaining browser content while displayed is quickened.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented user notification method includes displaying, at user-accessible locations on a graphical display of a mobile device, notifications corresponding to user interest, preference, and frequency of interaction with particular applications or activities on the mobile device. By increasing ease of interaction with particular notifications and advertisements that are of increased importance and relevance for the user, a higher click through and conversion rate is anticipated.

Abstract:
The present invention provides methods and systems for incorporating user information such as a user's errands, tasks, and/or online behavior in determining a preferred route between an origin and a destination using a web map planning service. Potential advertisers can use the user information to target particular users who are traveling near a particular route to give users various options to optimize their travel plans.

Abstract:
A system and method for cross-platform targeting includes: receiving as input calendar entries from an on-line calendar associated with a first user, the calendar entries designating specified time slots associated with scheduled events; marking the specified time slots associated with the scheduled events as unavailable time slots; eliminating the unavailable time slots from the calendar associated with the first user; determining from remaining time slots those time slots wherein the first user is deemed unlikely to be available; removing those time slots from the calendar, providing free time slots; and presenting the free time slots as optimal time slots for serving digital information to the first user.
