    Abstract: An object is to provide a working method capable of efficiently deburring and polishing a workpiece and making the life of a brush in use long in a machine tool not having power to directly rotate a tool and capable of working the workpiece by bringing the tool and the workpiece in contact with each other while causing the tool and the workpiece to perform a relative motion.The present invention relates to a working method of working a workpiece by rotating a brush-like grinding wheel by causing a brush-like grinding wheel and a workpiece to perform a relative motion while bringing the brush-like grinding wheel and the workpiece in contact with each other in a machine tool not having power to rotate a tool.

    Abstract: A polishing brush (1) includes a rod-shaped member (2) and a grinding element bundle (4) formed of a plurality of wire-shaped grinding elements (3). The rod-shaped member (2) has a holding hole (6) at a front portion (2a) to hold the grinding element bundle (4). The holding hole (6) has a bottom face (7) and a sleeve-shaped peripheral wall (8) extending from the bottom face (7) in an inclination direction (S). The grinding element bundle (4) has a seated portion (4a) seated in the holding hole (6) and a protruding portion (4b) protruding from an opening (6a) of the holding hole (6) in the inclination direction (S).     Abstract: A wheel brush (1) includes a grinding element bundle holder (3) having an annular grinding element bundle-holding surface (12) that faces the outer circumferential side and a plurality of grinding element bundles (4) that are formed by gathering a plurality of wire-shaped grinding elements (5). The grinding element bundle-holding surface (12) has a plurality of holding holes (16) arrayed in a circumferential direction (R), the grinding element bundles (4) protrude to the outer circumferential side from the grinding element bundle-holding surface (12) while one end portions are inserted into the holding holes (16). First protrusions (18) protruding to the outer circumferential direction are provided on first opening edge portions (17a) adjacent to the holding holes 16 at a first direction (L1) side in the rotational center line direction orthogonal to the circumferential direction R (R) in opening edges of the holding holes (16) in the grinding element bundle-holding surface (12). The first protrusions (18) are continuous in the circumferential direction R (R) to configure an annular first flange portion (19).

    Abstract: A shaft (2) of a deburring tool (1) has a distal end surface (5) orthogonal to its axis L, an annular connecting surface (6) extending in an X2 direction from an outer peripheral end of the distal end surface (5) toward an outer peripheral side, and an annular outer peripheral surface (7) extending parallel to the axis L from an end in the X2 direction of the connecting surface (6).     Abstract: A beveling cutter (1) is provided in which a cutting blade (10) is composed of, when seen from an axial direction (X): an inner cutting blade portion (16) extending linearly toward a rear side R2 in a rotational direction R and toward the outer peripheral side; an outer cutting blade portion (17) extending linearly toward a forward side (R1) in the rotational direction (R) and toward the outer peripheral side on the radially outer side of the inner cutting blade portion (16); and a bending cutting blade portion (18) that connects the outer peripheral end of the inner cutting blade portion (16) with the inner peripheral end of the outer cutting blade portion (17). During a beveling operation, a cutting force vector (V1) applied from the inner cutting blade portion (16) to an edge portion (3) of a workpiece (2) and a cutting force vector (V2) applied from the outer cutting blade portion (17) to the edge portion (3) of the workpiece (2) are directed toward the center in the width direction of a bevel (5) formed by cutting. Formation of Poisson burr can thus be suppressed.
