Abstract:
A portable or travelling transporting device for winding material usable as a hose truck has a frame (3), to which are fitted a travelling mechanism (4) with ground wheels (6) for moving on a ground surface, as well as a hose winding drum. The ground wheels (6) rotating on moving the hose truck can be brought into driving connection with the winding drum by means of a force transfer means (25) constructed as a flat gear. A slip clutch (46) located in the force transfer path ensures that during the advance of the hose truck a laid out hose can be wound onto the winding drum with a limited winding force appropriate for troublefree, compact winding on.
Abstract:
In a sprinkling apparatus constructed as a square sprinkler, which has a straight nozzle row with a plurality of nozzles and directionally adjustable nozzle axes, it is possible to tilt the nozzle axes of single nozzles collectively relative to one another. A preferred embodiment has a fan-like sprinkling pattern, the jets of the fan being symmetrically or asymmetrically brought together or moved apart. The fan edges can be adjusted independently of one another.
Abstract:
A soil cultivation appliance, especially a lawnmower, which can be motor-driven or manually driven. The appliance is provided with a steering shaft and a steering frame or wheel for the operator. The steering device enables the soil cultivation appliance to change direction due to the fact that torque is introduced into the housing of the soil cultivation appliance by the steering shaft. The torque is used to change the direction of the advancing movement, to the left or to the right, without needing to steer the wheels. An advantage of the appliance is that, when the steering shaft is arranged on the housing in a continuously pivotable manner, the position of the operator is independent from a thrust frame or the like, by which means the soil cultivation appliance must be mechanically guided.
Abstract:
A coupling part for a fluid coupling device, especially a hose coupling, which has a looking device switchable between two positions. The locking device has locking elements mounted on a base body, and a socket-shaped actuating element that interacts with the locking elements. The coupling part is switchable between a retaining and releasing positions by an axial releasing movement of the actuating element. In the retaining position, the locking elements hold the counterpart of the coupling, e.g. a hose stem, to prevents it from being pulled out and, in the releasing position, the locking elements release the same in order to disengage the coupling. The actuating element can be moved from the retaining position into a locking position, prohibiting a releasing movement, by rotating the actuating element in a limited manner around the longitudinal axis of the coupling. As a result, the coupling is prevented from being unintentionally disengaged.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a soil cultivation appliance, especially a lawnmower (1), which can be motor-driven or manually driven. Said appliance is provided with a steering shaft (8) and a steering frame (7) or wheel for the operator. Said steering device enables the soil cultivation appliance to change direction due to the fact that torque is introduced into the housing (2) of the soil cultivation appliance by means of the steering shaft (8), said torque being then used to change the direction of the advancing movement, to the left or to the right, without needing to steer the wheels. An advantage of the novel embodiment is that, when the steering shaft (8) is arranged on the housing (2) in a continuously pivotable manner, the position of the operator is independent from a thrust frame or the like, by which means the soil cultivation appliance must be mechanically guided.
Abstract:
A sprinkling apparatus constructed as a square sprinkler has a nozzle arrangement with a straight row of nozzles, whereof each has a nozzle inlet connected by a nozzle duct to a nozzle outlet. At least in a portion between the nozzle inlet and nozzle outlet, the nozzles are constructed as rubber-like water guidance ducts, which are disconnectable by a force action transversely to the water flow direction. For the disconnection of individual nozzles clamping sliders are provided and are displaceable transversely to the water flow direction against the rubber-like nozzles and in the case of a displacement in each case disconnect or release again a nozzle. This permits a very variable adjustment of the sprinkling pattern.
Abstract:
A hose connector with gripping elements (18) pressing a hose (14) on a socket (15) uses a two-part sleeve (24). The two-part sleeve includes a screw piece (25) and an extension sleeve connected to the screw piece by a rotary connection and the two-part sleeve surrounds and supports the hose for a significant portion beyond the clamping area of the gripping elements (18). This inner sleeve (32) also has the funnel-shaped, conical actuating surface (33) for the pressing of the gripping elements.
Abstract:
With a limited separating spacing immediately upstream of a mowing implement rotating in a horizontal plane, a lawnmower has an upward extraction implement rotating in the same direction as the advance direction about a horizontal transverse axis and which is located in a common casing, but in a separate casing chamber. The upward extraction implement is disengagingly driven by means of a gear by the drive motor of the mowing implement and is essentially located between the front wheels, which are vertically adjustable for the joint setting of the working height of the two implements. Thus, it is possible to in each case separately and also jointly and simultaneously work with the two implements, so that numerous use possibilities exist.
Abstract:
A flush sprinkler has a sprinkler unit raisable and lowerable in hydraulic manner in a shaft and, several nozzle units, which, as required, can be switched into a sprinkling state with an upper nozzle selecting handle and whose nozzle jets can be modified independently by a jet spreading member adjustable with an associated jet adjusting handle. There are also rings for varying a spray spreading angle as a function of size and position. The handles are raisable and lowerable with the sprinkler unit and therefore easily accessible. For cleaning the bearing of the sprinkler unit, an automatically valve-controlled flushing device is provided. For the reliable draining of the sprinkler, a drain valve is provided directly in the water flow and its body is clipped into a valve bore of the shaft.
Abstract:
In a sprinkler (1), the water distributors (10) for supplying the spray nozzles (13, 14, 15) is formed by a separate main channel (15) inserted in a spray nozzle casing (2) and having relatively small flow cross-sections compared with the casing cross-sections, which is also constructed in one piece with the spray nozzles (13, 14, 15), so that the spray nozzle casing (2) does not have to be used for water distribution purposes and can instead merely serve as a support casing. Of the spray nozzles arranged in a row, those which are located at the end of the row can be individually manually disconnected with separate check valves (36), so that in simple manner it is possible to adjust the width of the exiting water curtain within certain limits.
