    Abstract: An immersive rear projection imaging and audio system with interactive capability. It utilizies a single projection device. Said device receiving its image correction information via a computer interface. The computer interface is performing 3-D geometric image reformation and correction from the source. Said source may be supplied by any commercially available media or means. The receiving surface of the specially treated, vertically oriented open ended dome screen having a truncated lower quadrant section. Within said hemispherical display screen, the viewer's field of vision is immersed within the projected image. We further cause an immersive audio experience within this same space and present a method for producing same.

    Abstract: An orthopedic cushioning device and system which includes a base cushion(s) and a plurality of smaller, modular cushion elements that may be changeably attached and arranged without tools or mechanical control systems onto the base cushion(s) and onto other cushion elements to form a custom surface topography. This cushioning system is a fully portable, lightweight support solution for the comfort of all people and especially for those with special orthopedic requirements and other physical problems. The system is adaptable to a wide variety human body sizes, shapes and forms. It may be used as an overlay on existing human support systems like chairs, wheelchairs, beds and vehicle seating. User reconfigurable, it does not require any external or internal power sources. The cushion elements may be methodically arranged over time to affect change in the relationship between the bones and their related connecting tissues, tendons, cartilage and ligaments of the user.

    Abstract: A novel apparatus and method of controlling sails and their related mechanical forces on sailing systems through the utilization of threaded elements/forms. This device is easily scaled to the requirements of the particular sailing system being controlled. It has four basic elements providing control. The first is a rotatable lead screw having a lead angle of 5° or less. A matching internally threaded element, which travels in a linearly upon the lead screw when same is rotated. The lead screw may have non-threaded smooth sections on each end, which provide an area for rotary bearing supports. Rotation of the lead screw is provided for upon either or both ends.The lead screw may be of any form or design provided it has a lead angle of 5° or less. This feature eliminates the need for brakes or other holding devices to sustain loads after they have been positioned.

    Abstract: A surface-mounted device for controlling the swing/rotational motion of a hinged door/panel system. Said device controls the velocity of the door/panel's and provides check point(s) in the pathway of its motion. The device includes a non-pivoting carrier component to be fixed upon a hinged door/panel, a non-pivoting receiver component fastened to the adjacent and separate area which shares a common hinge(s)/axis with the movable door/panel and a flexible control arm component firmly attached at one end to the carrier. The flexible control arm is aligned with the receiver's through-body aperture by means of the carrier's fixed position on a movable hinged door/panel and provides control of the door/panel by means of passing into and through the aperture provisioned in the receiver in a linear manner to provide both speed and positional check control (motion detents) of the door's potential swing arc path. The speed control aspect of the device is accomplished by means of controlled frictional contact between the flexible control arm's component material(s) and the receiver's aperture and this effect is enhanced by means of the temporary physical deformation exhibited by the flexible control arm whilst it is undergoing loading stresses as it passes within the constriction of the receiver's aperture geometry, its component materials and the energized spherical element acting upon the wide surface of the flexible control arm by limiting frictional contact between the flexible control arm and the receiver's aperture when the energized spherical element is not engaged with the flexible control arm's provisioned negative areas(s) and the attached door/panel is in motion. Maximum frictional force is delivered by the device when the spherical element engages a provisioned negative area on the flexible control arm, thus creating a check in the door/panel swing path. The device may be added/retrofitted to the surfaces of a pre-existing or new hinged door/panel system without significant design or structural modifications of said hinged door/panel systems and their associated components.

    Abstract: An improved apparatus and method to extract the mechanical energy of waves, tides and water movement into useful mechanical energy, a wave energy converter (WEC). This device is easily scaled to harness said energy according to the needs of local conditions or user requirements. It has five elements, to be placed in a body of water. Two of those elements being a buoyant body, containing an apparatus for water motion energy conversion, and a reactive free weight being able to move relative to each other in response to forces exerted by the body of water. A mooring system, to which, is attached a flexible member. The flexible member attaches these elements together as one device. Upon its length it contains at least two re-positionable elements which restrain the motion of the buoyant body along the length of the flexible member.
