Abstract: The present disclosure provides a backlight module and a display device; the backlight module includes a light guide plate, a first light emitting module and a second light emitting module; a plurality of protrusion portions and a plurality of groove portions are defined on at least one side edge of the light guide plate; the first light emitting module includes a plurality of first light emitting elements disposed corresponding to the groove portions and light emitting surfaces of the first light emitting elements face corresponding first light incident surfaces; the second light emitting module includes a plurality of second light emitting elements disposed corresponding to the protruding portions, and light emitting surfaces of the second light emitting elements face corresponding second light incident surfaces.
