    Abstract: A backlight module and a plastic frame structure thereof are provided. The plastic frame structure mainly comprises a plastic frame body and a light source carrier. The plastic frame body is used to carry optical films such as a light guide plate, and the light source carrier is used to fix light sources. The two parts, i.e. the plastic frame body and the light source carrier, are connected with each other by a detachable means, so as to be conveniently tested respectively, and then assembled together when no defect is found, as so to increase the assembling efficiency. Furthermore, if the two parts are assembled but have defects found, the two parts can conveniently be changed, respectively. Therefore, not only the rework cost can be reduced, but also the efficiencies of the test and assembly for the whole of the backlight module are increased.

The present invention further discloses a display device.

    Abstract: The present invention proposes an illuminating device having a quantum dot tube. The illuminating device includes: a transparent tubular encapsulation device including a light incident surface and a light emergent surface and a quantum dot. Bumps and grooves are disposed on the light incident surface and/or the emergent surface at intervals. The quantum dot is encapsulated in the transparent tubular encapsulation device. When an excitement light shines the quantum dot, the quantum dot is excited to emit light through the light incident surface. By using the illuminating device, light cannot leak from the gaps among the LEDs and the QDs and among the QDs and the LGPs, which is good for enhancing light availability. Additionally, the present invention also proposes a backlight module and a liquid crystal display using the illuminating device having the quantum dot tube.

    Abstract: Provided are an optical film and a backlight module. The backlight module includes a backboard, a light guide plate and the optical film. The backboard includes a bottom plate and two side plates mounted to the bottom plate having outside surfaces. The optical film includes a first film layer and a second film layer stacked on the first film layer. The first film layer has two opposite lateral edges including positioning tabs extending therefrom in a direction away from the first film layer. The light guide plate and the optical film are mounted on the backboard. The optical film is positioned on the light guide plate with the second film layer engaging the light guide plate. The positioning tabs cover surfaces of the side plates distant from the bottom plate and is folded to attach to the outside surfaces of the side plates. A display device is also provided.
