Abstract:
Techniques described herein may be used to create and manage a network of customer premise equipment (CPE) devices (e.g., a CPE network). CPE devices may be rapidly initialized by integrating a process for initializing the CPE devices with a wireless network with a process for initializing the CPE devices with the CPE network. Configuration information for controlling the CPE devices may be managed and stored in a centralized location as machine-readable, computer-programming objects, which may be combined to provide a comprehensive view of the CPE network. Network services may be efficiently introduced into the CPE network and managed by creating virtual CPE devices that are associated with the CPE devices of the CPE network.
Abstract:
One or more devices may receive a service request. The service request may be associated with providing a network service to a service location and may be associated with a service provider network. The one or more devices may create a virtual network function (VNF), associated with providing the network service, based on the service request. The VNF may be created such that the VNF is hosted by the device, and may be configured to provide the network service. The one or more devices may insert the VNF into the service provider network. The VNF may be inserted to interact with a physical device of the service provider network to allow the network service to be provided to the service location.
Abstract:
A device can receive a plurality of input event objects that correspond to publications in a publication-subscription deployment, where the plurality of input event objects are associated with respective originating accounts and respective originating signatures. The device can identify, using a query, a set of input event objects, of the plurality of input event objects, based on which of one or more operations are to be invoked, where the query is based on the respective originating accounts and the respective originating signatures, and where the query returns respective output signatures corresponding to the set of input event objects. The device can generate one or more output event objects that include or identify the respective output signatures corresponding to the set of input event objects, and provide, to an event bus, the one or more output event objects to cause the one or more operations to be invoked.

Abstract:
Techniques described herein may be used to provide a self-installing customer premise equipment (CPE) device that is capable of automatically registering with, and participating in, a network of CPE devices in response to being powered on. The CPE device may be capable of logically combining a connection with a wireless cellular network and a wired network to increase bandwidth and reliability. The CPE device may also detect a power failure and report the power failure to a centralized server in order to facilitate the diagnosis and correction of performance issues caused by the power failure.
