A pre-selectable video file playback system and method, and a computer program product are provided. Multiple first images are captured from multiple frame images in a first time interval, and two chronological first images thereafter are compared sequentially. A next first image is selected if the next first image is substantially different from a previous first image, and the next first image is not selected if the next first image is substantially the same as the previous first image. By displaying the selected first images, the number of images that users watch may be reduced.
Abstract:
A pre-processing method for video data playback and a playback interface apparatus are provided, wherein a video receiver module receives a video data with clips, the clips corresponding to numbers in first and second time-sequences, and wherein a display module creates a corresponding GUI component for each clip and arranges the GUI components in the playback interface. When two clips consecutive in the first time-sequence are not consecutive in the second, the display module places their corresponding GUI components separately or distinguishably. By discerning the several time-sequences of the video data, this invention ensures random access of data while being visually intuitive and uniform design-wise.

An image content commenting method and a related image management system can be utilized to establish a commenting record about partial content of an image stream. The image content commenting method includes reading a coordinate value of a cursor within a first image frame of the image stream, selecting a pattern object inside the first image frame according to the coordinate value, establishing connection between a first bookmark and the pattern object, and identifying the pattern object from a second image frame of the image stream and then connecting the first bookmark with the pattern object inside the second image frame.

The fisheye image display method includes steps of receiving a fisheye image; generating an original image and a plurality of regional images according to the fisheye image, wherein the regional images are corresponding to a plurality of regions of interest in the original image; and arranging the regional images in at least two of the view cells, wherein the at least two view cells are adjacent to each other horizontally or vertically, and one of the at least two view cells includes at least two of the regional images.

A method of searching an image, which is disclosed in the present invention, includes selecting a first timing and a second timing to generate a first period, obtaining a plurality of first images from a first video streaming within the first period, and setting a second period according to at least one first image so as to obtain a plurality of second images from the first video streaming within the second period. The method of searching the image further includes simultaneously displaying a plurality of third image from a second video streaming within the second period, enlarging a selected image of the second images or the third images, and simultaneously enlarging another image that is captured at the same time as the time when the enlarging selected image is captured. The two enlarging images respectively belong to the first video streaming and the second video streaming.

A video file playback system capable of previewing an image, a method thereof, and a computer program product can sequentially compare change amounts between chronological two of frame images, select the frame images, of which the change amounts exceed a preset value, in at least one time interval, and select a frame image, which has a maximum change amount, in the frame images in each time interval as a preview image. By displaying a preview image corresponding to each time interval, a user can quickly browse key images of each time interval.
