    Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus, a terminal, and a network-side device. The data transmission method in embodiments of this application includes: transmitting, by a first terminal, user plane data and/or control plane data with a network-side device through multiple paths, where the multiple paths include at least a first path and a second path, where the first path is a direct path in which the first terminal directly communicates with the network-side device, and the second path is an indirect path in which the first terminal communicates with the network-side device through a second terminal; or the first path is an indirect path in which the first terminal communicates with the network-side device through a second terminal, and the second path is a direct path in which the first terminal directly communicates with the network-side device.

    Abstract: A resource selection method is provided. The resource selection method includes sending, by a higher layer of a first terminal, first information to a physical layer of the first terminal.     Abstract: A relay communication method and apparatus, and a terminal are provided. The relay communication method includes following steps. A first device obtains first information, where the first information includes configuration information for establishing a bearer of first communication. The first device establishes, with a second device, the bearer of the first communication based on the first information, and communicates therewith. The first device is one of a source terminal and a destination terminal, and the second device is the other of the source terminal and the destination terminal. The first communication is sidelink relay communication. The first information includes at least one of: first configuration information that is end-to-end configuration information in the configuration information of the bearer; and second configuration information that is hop-by-hop configuration information corresponding to a first target hop between the first device and a third device in the configuration information of the bearer.
