    Abstract: A physical downlink control channel detection method and apparatus, and pertains to the field of communications technologies. The physical downlink control channel detection method, applied to a terminal, includes: obtaining at least two search space groups and a switch condition, where the at least two search space groups include a first search space group and a second search space group; and switching between the first search space group and the second search space group according to the switch condition, for PDCCH detection. In the technical solutions provided in the present invention, switching of the terminal between different search space groups can be implemented.
